Atomic Mass Games reveals Sentinels, a Hydra tank, and more for Marvel: Crisis Protocol
Atomic Mass Games‘ latest “Ministravaganza” was full of reveals and surprises for Marvel: Crisis Protocol. The show opened by going over the new affiliation boxes that are hitting shelves that bring together four miniatures in a box:
- Asgardians – Thor, Valkyrie, Loki, Hela
- Black Order – Black Dwarf, Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive, and Proxima Midnight
- Uncanny X-Men – Beast, Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine
- Brotherhood of Evil Mutants – Magneto, Sabretooth, Toad, Mystique
It’s a great way to quickly pick up a faction to play with.
The show also went over upcoming releases like Malekith, Baron Strucker, the new Red Skull, and Armin Zola. As well as the new Captain America. The Zola looks even more impressive with great use of the see-through chest.
But, it was the reveals that were exciting.
Hydra scenery was shown including a tank with the Red Skull riding inside. There’s more coming for this including lasers instead of a missile pod. The missile pod can also go on the tank. The other piece of scenery is a power generator. It can all be used as an Ultimate Encounter as well! The scenario is the Red Skull riding around a tank to take over the city and he has to be stopped! This comes in the fall.
The long-awaited Sentinels were revealed as well. The trio has the Sentinel Prime in front and Sentinel MK IV on either side. The Prime is bigger than Dormammu. The addition has been worked on since the X-Men were announced. They are a playable roster with their own affiliation and Cassandra Nova will be a part of it. The figures are highly posable with ball swivels, all sorts of hands, and damaged parts, this set sounds amazing.
Taking them on, how about some new members of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants? Pyro and the Blob, two of the classic members will be joining the game.
Also revealed was a new “Rivals” set featuring an all-new Wolverine and all-new Sabretooth battling it out.
