Magic: ManaStrike Kicks Off Season 7 with a New Planeswalker

Netmarble has launched a new update to Magic: ManaStrike, the mobile game based on Wizards of the Coast‘s franchise Magic: The Gathering. Today’s update introduces a new storied Planeswalker, Huatli, to the game, along with an Ikoria-themed season of Magic Pass and additional offers and enhancements that are now available for players.

The new White/Red Planeswalker coming to Magic: ManaStrike as part of today’s update is Huatli. When summoned, Huatli’s passive effect offers sustained recovery to the player’s summoned unit with the highest HP. Huatli’s skill also delivers both damage and a knockback effect to enemy units within range of the Planeswalker’s attack. A new Magic Pass skin is also available for Nahiri, an ancient Kor warrior and Planeswalker who has a special power over stone. Nahiri’s skin is only available as a Magic Pass skin unlockable.

Magic: Manastrike Season 7

Other additions to Magic: ManaStrike as part of the new update include:

Players enter a contract with Nicol Bolas to provide combat data by controlling Planeswalkers and units in his universe. Fast-paced and easy to learn, fans can experience dynamic real-time battles with anyone from around the world in three-minute matches. During the battle, players summon units, cast spells, and command powerful Planeswalkers with a simple tap and drag gameplay and iconic Magic: The Gathering cards re-envisioned through high-quality 3D.

By collecting new cards from Magic’s five unique Mana colors – White, Blue, Black, Red and Green, players learn to understand each color’s traits, and create unique strategies that lead the way to victory.
