Codex: Death Guard might be hitting the shelves next week but it’s the pre-orders for the following week we’ve got our eye on. Games Workshop isn’t slowing down with the release of Codex: Adeptus Mechanicus and the Deathshroud Terminators.

Codex: Adeptus Mechanicus covers rules for the various sects of mysterious cult. The codex will unclude rules for the Cult Mechanicus, Skitarii, Questor Mechanicus Knights, as well as new Strategems, Warlord Traits, and Relics.

The codex also includes rules for 7 forge worlds including Mars, Agripinaa, and Stygies VIII.

Also being released for the first time on its own is Belisarius Cawl.

Codex: Death Guard Gets some love with the release of Deathshroud Terminators.

The Deathshroud Terminators have a solid role as armored bodyguard for characters and are armed with toxic plaguespurt guantlets, deadly Manreapers, with 3 strength 8 attacks in melee, each with AP -3 and dealing D3 damge apiece. Wearing Cataphractii Terminator Armor, the Deathshroud have Toughness 5, Disgustingly Resilient, a 2+ save, and 2 Wounds. They’re deadly and durable.

They Deathshroud also have a rule “Silent Bodyguard” which allows them to take a ranged hit for a friendly Death Guard character.

The week also sees the release of the Citadel Paint app, a must for modelers.
