Conquest 1.5 has Arrived in Print!

Para Bellum Wargames, the developer and publisher of the fantasy Regimental Miniature Wargame Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings and Skirmish system Conquest: First Blood, introduces new version rules for both of its games. Version 1.5 offers extensive and significant changes to individual rules, gives more flavor to entire factions, and provides solutions to balancing issues, and while some are polished, the core mechanics of the game remain undisturbed.

Indeed, while the changes are extensive, the core mechanics of both games have remained the same, so you do not have to learn two new game systems from scratch. The updated rulebooks offer many imaginative new strategies to employ, new exciting tools to utilize and unexpected uses for old ones. More, perhaps, than anything else, 1.5 offers an increased flavor in the way each Faction operates on the table. At the same time, wording and balancing issues have been addressed, with some previous points of debate cleared out. Players will spend more time thinking of new ways to fight rather than trying to understand how to do it!

The updated Rulebooks are available in six languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish) and, as ever, Para Bellum offers all rules in all available languages online for free, along with free and updated usage of the Army Builder on its site.

But, for those that want the print version, it has now arrived and can be purchased from your favorite game stores.
