Batman: The Dark Knight Returns— The Game is a solo board game experience in which a player dons the cowl and journeys through one of the most popular Batman stories ever told. Instead of traditional leveling up, this is a game of attrition. Batman comes out of retirement and tries to survive one final gauntlet, facing old and new villains…and even his most powerful ally, Superman! Playable as standalone missions or one epic playthrough where results of each mission carry over to the next.
Plus, sure to satisfy gamers and collectors alike, the deluxe version of the game will include 16+ minis designed in the distinct Frank Miller art style of the comic!
I backed their Walking Dead KS, and received some of the worst “boardgame miniatures” I’ve ever seen. Soft details, and the other game components were poor as well. The rulebook was badly edited. Monolith Games released a Batman game based on the 52 Universe, with much better miniatures.
I’m very interested to see the details of this but yes Monolith and Mantic did much better Walking Dead nd Batman games.
