Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: Kill Team, Warcry, and Middle-Earth Made to Order Highlight next week

It’s a big week for skirmish games from Games Workshop with the upcoming pre-orders. Kill Team and Warcry each get a lot of releases to expand their games.

Kill Team: Soulshackle sees the Imperial law in the form of Adeptus Arbites taking on Drukhari Kabalites. There’s new terrain, new rules for breaching walls, and control consoles. Plus, the two new Kill Teams.

The Adeptus Arbites are a brand-new kit updating the classic figures. They’ll take on the Hands of Archon, a Drukhari Kill team that features the Kabalite kit with a new upgrade sprue.

Also coming is the Kill Team: Kasrkin, now on their own. They’re perfect not only for Kill Team but also for use in Warhammer 40,000.

Kill Team: Farstalker Kinband are Kroot mercenaries who are on the hunt for deadly prey. They can also join T’au Empire armies in Warhammer 40,000 where they can be used as Kroot Warriors with Kroot rifles.

Kill Team: Imperial Navy Breachers specialize in ship-to-ship boarding actions. The C.A.T. unit scouts ahead as they prepare for close-quarter combat. There’s also free rules to use them in Warhammer 40,000.

The Kill Team: Hierotek Circle is a band of Necrons that features new miniatures and an upgrade sprue for the existing Deathmarks kit.

Killzone: Gallowdark allows you to build your own board with 54 pieces of terrain.

Killzone Upgrade: Shadowvaults features security panels, weapons lockers, a robot crawler, and heavy bolter sentry turret to add to your Kill Team board.

Kill Team: Into the Dark is a 120-page book that contains lore and rules for Navy Breachers and the Farstalker Kinband. There’s also nine Shadow Operations themed around early expeditions, a campaign that adds extra narrative, and nine Critical OPerations designed for balance play.

Kill Team: Shadowvaults is a 120-page book that has the rules to field Kasrkin and Hierotek Circle kill teams. There’s also nine narrative missions, nine Critical Operations, and new rules for sentry turrets and infiltrations.

For Warhammer 40,000 there’s Boarding Actions: Void War Bases. It features 60 bases sculpted to look like grated metal from voidships and 54 decorative elements to add grilles, gantries, and bits of hardware.

Warcry: Bloodhunt is the latest box set for that game. It features the Askurgan Trueblades vs. the Claws of Karanak. It’s Soulblight vampires vs. Khorne cultists! The box also has new terrain including a fortified platform and fortifications with existing rope bridges and obstacles. It also contains the 64-page Predator and Prey Warband Tome which features rules for both warbands, quests, and two Campaign Arcs.

The Hunters of Huanchi is full of Chameleon Skinks awaiting to harass foes with dartpipes and bolas. They can be used in Warcry and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.

The Jade Obelisk are cursed as their skin turns to stone. They’re here for your games of Warcry or to join your Slaves to Darkness force in Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.
