It was supposed to launch this week but Knight Models has announced that it has postponed the crowdfunding launch of Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum.

In a message posted online, the game publisher said that one of the game’s designers had an accident and was in serious condition. The publisher felt they didn’t want to launch the project without him and so are waiting to find out more about his condition.

We’re sending out positive thoughts in hopes the injured individual recovers.

You can read Knight Models’ official announcement below.

Good evening everyone,

Unfortunately, we are getting in touch with all of you to share some bad news that has affected the entire Knight Models family.

This past weekend, one of the game’s designers had an accident and is in serious condition. Today we are waiting to see the evolution of him, but we do not feel strong enough to launch the Kickstarter project Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum without him.

We understand that this is very bad news for everyone, but we hope you understand the situation and understand the reason for this delay in the launch of the project.

Of course, the project will launch as soon as possible. We ask you to stay tuned to our social networks to see the evolution of Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum.

Thank you very much for your support and understanding, we will keep you informed about this situation.

The Knight Models team.
