We knew that Moon Knight was coming for Atomic Mass Games‘ Marvel: Crisis Protocol. We now have a solid look at the character in a newly released image.

Moon Knight is an interesting addition to the game who will bring more close combat to rosters.

Created by Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin, the character first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32 in 1975.

The character is similar to Batman in that they are both wealthy and use their wealth to fight crime with gadgets along with both being martial artists. However, Moon Knight is very different in ways. Marc Spector, a former boxer, Marine, CIA operative, and mercenary found himself betrayed and is left for dead. He’s approached by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu who offers him the chance to be his avatar on Earth. The character also has created multiple personalities to aid his fight against crime. He also might have dissociative identity disorder and is one of Marvel’s most high-profile Jewish characters.

Moon Knight will be played by Oscar Isaac in an upcoming show on Disney+.
