Games Workshop has revealed next week’s pre-orders. Warhammer: Age of Sigmar gets a whole new way to play the game and Nurgle’s army grows bigger in Warhammer 40,000!

Firestorm is a new way to play Warhammer: Age of Sigmar that allows you to play with map-based campaigns. As you win battles you capture territories and build a kingdom gaining benefits. Firestorm works in games big and small and is reusable over and over.

There’s also 10 new allegiance abilities representing the unique armies of the Great Cities. With that, three new boxed sets of miniatures are being released as well. Each box has a rules sheet to let you use your Great Cities in Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.

The Death Guard and Nurgle gain new troops as Blightlord Terminators enter the battlefield. They’re armed with old a new deadly weapons alike.

Accompanying the new Terminators is Typhus, the Herald of Nurgle. The new model has been upgraded using some of the classic elements of the original model with the new Death Guard detail.
