Games Workshop has lifted some details as to what we can expect at this year’s Warhammer 40,000 Chapter Approved.

The new book will feature (but not limited to):

• An expansion for Apocalypse games of Warhammer 40,000
• Guidelines to run planetary invasion campaigns
• Updated matched play points for dozens of units and weapons for every army
• New missions for open, narrative, and matched play

There’s also a new feature, Open Play! It’s been quite a while since it’s been available but players will be able to design and build their own vehicles in new trial rules that will be focused on designing Land Raider variants to be fielded on the battlefields.

The book will also help those who have not yet received their own Codexes with expanded rules while they wait.
