Spartan Games Shuts Down

Spartan Games today announced that it has “ceased” and staff made “redundant.” Basically, they’re shutting down. The game publisher is behind games such as Uncharted Seas, Firestorm Armada, Dystopian Legions, Dystopian Wars, and Spartan Scenics.

Spartan Games was launched in 2008 but after investment the company has decided that it could not continue to “service its liabilities” particularly what is owed to finance companies.

The company had launched a Kickstarter to raise funds but it did not provide the full resources needed.

The company has said it hopes to fulfill customer orders but those who are unable to receive it should contact their payment service, credit cards or Paypal, to receive a refund.
