Stoneman Douglas Teachers are Requesting Board Game Donations
Stoneman Douglas students are returning to school after the murder of their fellow students and teachers and administration are attempting to find ways to transition the students back into the setting. They’ve put out a request for items they think will help, board games.
The school has received more than enough bookpacks and school supplies and are instead looking for board games, brain teasers, critical thinking puzzles, card games, and other items of that nature as well as art supplies.
The plan is to use the items as part of the healing process and therapy which will take time.
Donations can be brought to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas front office and left to the care of Penny Pagano or Teresa Basilone, the school’s office manager.
Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School is located at 5901 Northwest Pine Island Road in Parkland.
