Goodman Games Inks an Exclusive Distribution Deal with Diamond Book Distributors

Diamond Book Distributors has announced that it has signed a worldwide distribution agreement with Goodman Games to exclusively distribute their products to North American and international book markets. Distribution to the comic book specialty market is handled exclusively by Diamond Comic Distributors.

Goodman Games is a tabletop role-playing game publisher known for its classic adventure, Dungeon Crawl Classics Role Playing Game (DCC RPG), first released in 2012. Grounded in the sword and sorcery fiction that underpins classic RPGs, DCC RPG is the most popular tabletop RPG in the sub-genre now known as Old School Renaissance. “You’re no hero,” states the DCC RPG guide. “You’re an adventurer: a reaver, a cutpurse, a heathen-slayer, a tight-lipped warlock guarding long-dead secrets. You seek gold and glory, winning it with sword and spell, caked in the blood and filth of the weak, the dark, the demons, and the vanquished. There are treasures to be won deep underneath, and you shall have them.”

DCC RPG has sold more than 100,000 copies through 11 printings for traditional game and hobby channels, and the broader line of DCC adventures has sold more than 750,000 copies. To date, Goodman Games has released more than 40 DCC adventures. Each adventure is a pre-designed scenario that expands the options available to a DCC game. Goodman Games also publishes popular titles such as Mutant Crawl Classics, Xcrawl Classics, Fifth Edition Fantasy, and the hit Original Adventures Reincarnated series. Diamond Book Distributors has announced that it has signed a worldwide distribution agreement with Roll for Combat to exclusively distribute its products to North American and international book markets. This agreement also sees Roll for Combat products distributed to the comic book specialty market exclusively through Diamond Comic Distributors.

Roll for Combat publishes high-quality deluxe tabletop RPG products for 5e and Pathfinder Second Edition, written by veteran authors and overseen by Director of Game Design Mark Seifter, co-creator of Pathfinder Second Edition. Along with Publisher Stephen Glicker, Seifter and a rotating cast of industry guests deliver tips, inside scoops, and analysis on the tabletop RPG scene on the YouTube show Roll for Combat Live. Additionally, Roll for Combat licenses with Paizo Inc. to run the RPG Superstar contest, which allows aspiring authors to submit monsters for professional judge feedback and potential publication.

Roll for Combat is most well-known for the Battlezoo line of products for 5e and Pathfinder 2e. These include Battlezoo Ancestries Dragons, which allows players to play as dragons; Battlezoo Eldamon, which introduces 162 elemental creatures to befriend and 13 different elements to master; the Battlezoo Bestiary, which features hundreds of award-winning monsters to add to any TTRPG game; and the epic adventure Jewel of the Indigo Isles created collaboratively among five legendary industry veteran adventure authors.

Diamond Signs Green Ronin to List of Publishers

Diamond Book Distributors has signed a deal with Green Ronin Publishing to be their exclusive distributor.

Seattle based Green Ronin Publishing is dedicated to the art of great games. Since the year 2000 Green Ronin has established a reputation for quality and innovation, publishing such roleplaying game hits as Dragon Age, A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying, and Mutants & Masterminds, and winning over 40 awards for excellence. For an unprecedented three years running, Green Ronin won the prestigious GenCon & EnWorld Award for Best Publisher.

Green Ronin Publishing has recently released their new Fantasy AGE Encounter: Ancient Shadows for player levels 5-8. Fantasy AGE is a tabletop RPG featuring a three core character class and level system with specializations and a magic system built around combat, exploration, and roleplaying stunts.
