At Warhammer Fest 2023, Games Workshop revealed the next campaign series for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, Dawnbringers!
Dawnbringers Book I: Harbingers kicks off the series and supports all four Grand Alliances. It introduces the Twin-Tailed Crusade, an expedition that will depart across Aqshy and Ghyran. It follows both crusades and their fates with new background and rules for games, characters, and there’s a new Path to Glory battlepack with new quests, territory rules, veteran abilities, and six battleplans.
Harbingers takes its name from the four heralds of provenance who rise to prominence in the early days of the Twin-Tailed Crusade, each leading a warband of devoted followers.
Phlugoth the Miser – Harbinger of Decay diving Nurgle’s will as pestilent prophets. They lead Rotbringer cohorts known as Shudderhoods bringing the Plague Lord’s name across the land.
Sir Jerrion – Marrowscroll Herald is a vector of madness, spreading and magnifying the delusions that drive them. They’re inspiring warrior-envoys for the Flesh-eater Courts.
Fjori – Grimhold Exile is an avatar of retribution ready to meet foes in battle. The Grimhold Exiles are a rare sight to be seen within the Fyreslayers.
Braggit Big-Talka – Rabble-Rowza is attended by a swarm of bat squigs and can gather hordes of agitated cave-critters that can bring a deluge of destruction.
Each of these heralds will lead a unique Regiment of Renown.
It’s a fantasy sort of week for Games Workshop with next week’s pre-orders!
Nagash’s legions are back with Battletome: Nighthaunt! It features everything you need to bring this army to unlife. Get the regular edition or the limited collector’s edition which features a soft-touch cover, red ribbon marker, gilt page edges, and gold foil blocking.
You can show off your loyalty and keep track of your forces with the Nighthaunt Warscroll Cards and Dice.

Maybe you need range support for your Nighthaunt army? Then the Craventhrone Guard is what you’re looking for.
The Ethereal Court features three heroes – the Knight of Shrouds on Ethereal Steed, a Spirit Torment, and a Guardian of Souls.
If neither of those armies are what you’re looking for, then how about the Vanguard: Idoneth Deepkin? A great way to start your Deepkin force or expand a current one, it features 15 miniatures.
Or how about Vanguard: Fyreslayers? A perfect start to your force, it features 26 hot-headed miniatures.
Expand your Fyreslayers with the Auric Runefather on Magmadroth. It’s being sold separately for the first time. It can also be used to build an Auric Runeson or Runesmiter on Magmadroth. Plus, whichever hero you don’t use can be built on foot!
Defend the North of Middle-Earth with Defence of the North for the Middle Earth: Strategy Battle Game. The expansion takes players through pivotal events in the Northern Realms. It has new heroes and villains, new army lists, 22 narrative play scenarios, and six Legendary Legions.
Made to Order gets a whole bunch of miniatures for the game as well. Bolster your nefarious forces of Evil with a whole heap of goblins, including the Warg Marauder shock cavalry, a malevolent Dragon, Moria Goblin heroes like Ashrâk, Drûzhag, Durbûrz, and Grôblog, and some supremely skilled Easterling Mounted Commanders. Stalwart Dwarves join the fray in the form of the Khazad Guard and Captains of Erebor, who are more than a match for any enemy in Middle-earth – no matter their height – while the Lake-town Captains command the forces of Dale against Evil.
If you need a battlefield, then look no further than the Fortress of Dol Guldur. It features six modular kits to build your ruins to battle over and within.
Show off your favored army with the Easterling Dice Set.
The Easterling’s mysterious ruler also is coming with The Dragon Emperor of Rhûn.
You can also build out your force with the elite Easterling Black Dragon Warriors.

They can also be used in existing decks and warbands taking advantage of Harrowdeep’s new Illusion and Grievous mechanics.
Bless be Nurgle as Blood Bowl gets a pitch, dice, and cards to show off one’s devotion in the game. The Nurgle pitch features two sides with one side featuring a simmering infestation below the surface, while the other blooms into a full-blown plague garden complete with toothy growths erupting from the sod.
Nurgle-themed dice are also coming as well as Team Cards which create a handy reference in the game including Star Players and Special Plays.
