Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: The Knights are coming to 40K

After weeks of teases, next week sees the pre-order releases for Knights for both Chaos and the Imperium!

You’ll be able to get the Chaos Knights Army Set which allows for dozens of configurations as you build you machines of death. It’s the first place to get hold of the new Chaos Knights kits, the codex, and datacards. You can build a Knight Abominant as well as two War Dogs, great to reinforce your army or build a whole new one!

The codex is a special edition with a soft-touch cover. Also included are 50 datacards that feature generic stratagems for use by any Chaos Knight army, special stratagems for six individual Dread Houses, and six Warp Storm Discipline psychic powers. Also included is a transfer sheet with almost 600 decals!

This is your first chance to get this force, new rules, and models!

The Imperium isn’t outdone. You can get Codex: Imperial Knights too! The new codex features all the rules you need to get them to the tabletop plus all the background you need to build out your force. You can get a Collector’s edition which features a soft-touch cover, ribbon bookmark, and grand glit lettering, or get the regular edition.

You can also get Imperial Knights Datacards which help you keep track of Stratagems and Knightly teachings during battle. . Also included are cards for the Households-specific Stratagems for House Terryn, House Griffith, House Cadmus, House Hawkshroud, House Mortan, House Raven, House Taranis, House Krast, and House Vulker.

You’ll be able to build your Imperial Knights force with Knight Armigers and Knight Dominus. The Knight Armigers feature two shooty Helverins or a pair of up-close-and-personal Warglaives – or one of each! You could also corrupt them and turn them to the forces of Chaos.

The Knight Dominus kit will now let you build the enemy-incinerating Knight Valiant or the bombarding Knight Castellan. Or, corrupt it to serve the Dark Gods!

War Zone Nachmund: Rift War also arrives concluding the event story. The book includes new missions, new Crusade rules, and a War of Desperation campaign to wage across three distinct War Zones – plus a Codex Supplement for the Castellans of the Rift Chapter of Space Marines, and new Armies of Renown for the Warpmeld Pact and the Coteries of the Haemonculi. Adepticon 2022: New Chaos Knights Revealed plus Codexes and Army Set!

It’s Adepticon 2022 week and Games Workshop kicked it off with a preview of things to come. New Imperial Knights revealed? Nope, how about Chaos Knights! New kits have been revealed to help you destroy the Imperium.

Revealed is the Knight Abominant which is packed with new details and looks like one hell of a kit.

Also revealed was the War Dog Karnivore. The close combat focused War Dog is sure to tie up the enemy while chopping them up.

But, the Imperium gets something too. Two codexes are coming, Codex: Imperial Knights and Codex: Chaos Knights were both revealed.

And, if you want to build your force quickly, you can get the Chaos Knights Army Set! It features the Knight Abominant and a pair of Savage War Dogs.

Take Your 40K Battles to War Zone Charadon

During today’s new online preview, Games Workshop revealed the next War Zone to battle it out in Warhammer 40K. War Zone Charadon Act 1: The Book of Rust has Typhus and the Death Guard attempting to claim the forge world Metalica for their own. Standing in their way is the Adeptus Mechanicus.

War Zone Charadon Act 1: The Book of Rust features background about the epic war zone but also new rules for:

  • Death Guard
  • Adeptus Mechanicus
  • Imperial Knights
  • Drukhari

The new Death Guard codex will be releasing soon and it’s unknow what rules will be added here that won’t be found in that book. The Drukhari codex has been revealed to be released in early 2021, so same questions apply to that army as well.

The new codex supplement won’t be the only release. The Plague Purge Mission Pack delivers a host of specific Crusade rules. Create a campaign around the world and gain relics and abilities along the way. It gives a whole new region of space to set campaigns in.

Games Workshop Reveals Imperial Knights, Harlequin, and Deathwatch Codexes

Fans of Games Workshop‘s Warhammer 40,000 always want to know what’s next and the company has revealed the next three codexes to be released (after Necrons and Dark Eldar).

Codex: Imperial Knights features rules for new Knights unites as well as Knightly Households, Freeblades, and Strategems. It also explains the recently released Armiger Warglaives in the Forgebane box.

Codex: Harlequins brings that army to the table where they join the Drukhari and Asuryani.

Finally, you’ll be able to take on the xenos with Codex: Deathwatch. The alien hunters will include new content like Primaris Space Marines and specific stratagems.
