Stonemaier Games Announces Red Rising

Red Rising

Stonemaier Games teased the announcement of a game today. Red Rising (aka “Codename Gold”) is a competitive, hand-management, combo-building game based on the futuristic dystopian novels by Pierce Brown. The game has been in development for five years and a passion project for Jamey Stegmaier and he’s been working on it as a collaboration with new designer Alexander Schmidt.

The game is for 1-6 players with gameplay between 45-60 minutes. More details will be unveiled over the next 2 weeks.

The Red Rising Collector’s Edition preorder will be available to everyone in early March, with shipping to follow in March and April. It features friendly shipping in the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia/NZ. You don’t need to be a Stonemaier Champion to order from them, but if you want to support the publisher’s content and get a $10 discount on every order, now is a great time to look into the program.

For every person who requests a preorder launch notification on this form by February 16, Stonemaier Games will donate $1 to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to support the rights of those who are underrepresented and marginalized.
