At last year’s Gen Con we showed off a bit of CMON‘s Kick-Ass: The Board Game and we now know more about this upcoming game.

Based on the comic series by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr., the game will be released August 31.

Players take on the role of masked vigilantes each with different gear and they must work together to stop the Evil Boss. Players travel the Districts to stop minions, help citizens, and attempt to manage their personal life. There’s 5 bosses to play against.

The box includes: 45 miniatures, 1 map board, 17 dice, 7 hero dashboards, 1 final plot track, 2 incoming tracks, 245 cards, 132 tokens, 27 counter bases, and a rulebook. the game is for 1 – 4 players, ages 18 and up, and plays in 60 – 90 minutes. It will retail for $59.99.
