The Stuff of Legend Board Game Has Less Than 2 Days to Go!

The graphic novel series The Stuff of Legend is winding down its crowdfunding campaign with less than 2 days to go before the campaign ends. It’s well past its goal so a great opportunity to get the game.

Designed by Kevin Wilson, the cooperative board game has each player taking on the role of one of the boy’s loyal toys, each with their own unique abilities. Players work co-operatively, scouring the Dark in search of the Boy before the Boogeyman can escape with him. Players beware, through the course of the game your allegiance may change, and at any point one of your fellow players could be secretly working against you for the wicked Boogeyman.

The game is for 3 to 6 players and can be played in 60 to 90 minutes. It’s recommended for ages 12+.

With the crowdfunding campaign, players have the choice of backing the eventual retail edition early or stepping up and getting their hands on a limited edition Boogeyman edition featuring incredible miniatures and a limited-edition comic book. The retail edition is $70 while the “Boogeyman Edition” is $99.

Unwind Your Mind with A Gentle Rain from Mondo Games and Kevin Wilson

A Gentle Rain

Take a deep breath, and relax… Mondo Games has announced A Gentle Rain, a meditative solo or cooperative strategy game designed to instill calm and tranquility. A visually beautiful game, this little box of calm is simple to understand, yet hard to master.

First created as a holiday gift for friends and family, A Gentle Rain was designed by acclaimed game designer Kevin Wilson to create a feeling of calm during the often stressful holiday season. The game was a hit, with many recipients still playing the game years later due to its simplicity, portability, and the soothing and compelling game ritual.

A contemplative solo or cooperative game, the goal of A Gentle Rain is to place game tiles in such a way that reveals eight types of blooming lilies before your tiles run out. Each new tile drawn is placed next to a tile already in play, making sure to match the colors of all the tile edges touching the newly played tile. With each complete square of four touching tiles, a blossom appears between them and a point is scored.

A Gentle Rain includes 28 tiles and 8 wooden tokens featuring art by Chris Bilheimer and is conveniently sized to travel anywhere. A Gentle Rain retails for $22 and is shipping now from MondoShop.com and will be available in retail stores nationwide beginning next month.
