Dungeons & Dragons: Mindbreaker is a Prequel to Baldur’s Gate III

Beginning in October, IDW Publishing returns to the Forgotten Realms with Dungeons & Dragons: Mindbreaker, a five-issue monthly comic book series that takes place before the events of Baldur’s Gate III, the highly-anticipated video game!

Acclaimed author Jim Zub, whose prolific career spans publishing, film, role-playing games, and video games, joins artist Eduardo Mello in a tense tale of familiar Dungeons & Dragons adventurers Krydle, Shandie, Delina, Nerys, Minsc, and Boo, as they discover that something insidious has taken root in their homeland!

Mindbreaker builds upon IDW’s expansive library of Dungeons & Dragons tales written by Zub, a sixth entry in a Baldur’s Gate saga that includes prior publications Legends of Baldur’s GateShadows of the VampireFrost Giant’s FuryEvil at Baldur’s Gate, and Infernal Tides.

Dungeons & Dragons: Mindbreaker #1 will be available with multiple cover variants for retailers and fans to enjoy, including Cover A by Max Dunbar, Cover B by Max Davenport, and a Retailer Incentive edition featuring art by Celia Lowenthal.

AJ Mendez and Aimee Garcia Lead a Perilous New Quest with Dungeons & Dragons: At the Spine of the World

Two new adventurers have joined the party as New York Times bestseller and former WWE superstar AJ Mendez and actor Aimee Garcia are announced as co-writers for the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons: At the Spine of the World comic book from IDW Publishing!

Based on the massively popular game and featuring a cast of brand-new characters, the four-issue At the Spine of the World storyline launches in late summer with artwork by IDW mainstay Martín Cóccolo.

In At the Spine of the World, the never-ending winter’s night is slowly driving an isolated town in the depths of Icewind Dale to the brink of insanity. To save them all, a perilous journey awaits a band of adventurers as they battle a furious icy god and uncover the plot of an ancient primordial evil.
