After a few weeks of not a whole lot since the release of the Chaos codex for Warhammer 40K, it looks like the army is finally getting its expected releases. Next week’s pre-orders feature some new figures as well as repackaged figures.
One of the big changes in the Chaos codex was a focus on Chaos Cultists. You’ll be able to build a horde of them with this new release and they can be the needed cannon fodder for the Dark gods.
The Dark Commune is an example of the focus on cannon fodder. A new unit, they’re the most dedicated servants. They lead their devotees into battle bringing all sorts of benefits.
Bring the skills of the Chosen Chaos Space Marines to the fight. They bring their experience and this customizable unit features alternate heads, accessories, and weapons for you to kit them out with.
The Warpsmith debuted a while ago but gets a release to patch up your war machines and taming daemon engines.
Warpforged features a Venomcrawler and two Obliterators that will help add heavy firepower to your army. This is the surprise that the three are packaged together as opposed to on their own.
Coming for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy is the Leviathan Siege Dreadnought with Drill & Claw Weapons. The behemoth comes with chest-mounted guns and two melee fists which can be built as a siege drill or siege claw.
You can also get the Leviathan Siege Dreadnought Close Combat Weapons Frame if you plan on picking up the Leviathan with ranged weapons. This features two melee fists which can be built as siege drills or siege claws.
From Black Library comes Space Marine Conquests: The Devastation of Baal (Special Edition) by Guy Haley. It returns in a new special edition bound in a luxury black faux-leather cover, inlaid with crimson foil and intricate Blood Angels iconography. The story features 30,000 Space Marines assembled to defend Ball from the Tyranid Hive Fleet Leviathan!

The Norsca Rampagers are coming. The Blood Bowl team is an update to the classic Norse with new positionals and more! Though Berserkers, frenzied Ulfwerners punch holes in the opposition while the Valkyries score! Then there’s Beer Boars who give the team a mid-match pick-me-up.
You’ll need rules and that’s where Spike! Magazine 14 comes in. There are hints, tips, background, and lore to play the team in Blood Bowl and Dungeon Bowl!
You can enhance your games with the Norse Team Card Pack as well as the Norse Team Dice. There’s also the Norse Pitch and Dugout which is double-sided and brings games home to the frozen lands. There’s special rules for playing on an icy surface!

The Yhetee adds more punching power to your team.
Skrorg Snowpelt is a bit more stylish, looking good while ripping the arms off of opposing players. He can inspire your team and pump up the crowds.
Thorsson Stoutmead has an arm on him. It’s good for throwing barrels of beer at opposing players.
Ivar Eriksson comes with Block, Guard, and Tackle which will absolutely come in handy for games.
The Yhetee is a big guy for Norse teams but the three Star Players can also be fielded by Dwarf, Halfling, Imperial Nobility, Old World Alliance, and Ogre teams.
Black Library also has releases for fans.
Bequin: Pariah gets a hardback edition. Book One of the Bequin series gets the special edition treatment, wrapped in a luxury hardback package with sumptuous tarot-style cover art. Signed and with an introduction by Dan Abnett, the edition is limited to 2,000 copies.
Sigismund: The Eternal Crusader by John French is the third book in the Horus Heresy Character Series. It arrives in hardback, eBook, and MP3.
Traitor Rock by Justin D. Hill sees Minka Lesk and the Cadian 101st fighting a meat-grinder mission that threatens to devour them.
McFarlane Toys gets a slew of releases. The artist’s proof Ymgarl Genestealer will be available from Warhammer stores in North America and from games-workshop.com – while the Ork Big Mek and the Primaris Reiver with Grapnel Launcher will be available from games-workshop.com and in selected North American Warhammer stores.
Five more McFarlane models are available on the same date – but only from the Los Angeles and Dallas Warhammer stores. These are all supplied ready-painted. Choose from a Genestealer, a Primaris Reiver, a Big Mek, and two Meganobs, one with a buzzsaw and the other a shoota.
There’s also an Adepta Sororitas print that’ll be available from selected Warhammer stories that features John Blanche artwork.
McFarlane Toys has been doing their own mini Toy Fair showing off what’s coming from the toy manufacturer. They’re revealed two new releases that are coming to their line of Warhammer 40,000 figures. Coming soon are a Dark Angels Space Marine and Chaos Space Marine.
While the Chaos Space Marine looks pretty good, the Dark Angels figure might be the first fail of the figure line. While wings are a regular motif for the chapter, this implementation feels a little… off. It does come with a plasma pistol which is new.
After weeks of teasing, the Aeldari arrive in Games Workshop‘s pre-order next week. Not only is the Codex available but also some of what has already been revealed, which means there’s a lot more to come!
Codex: Aeldari comes in the expected two editions. The 200 page book features rules for Asuryani, Ynnari, and Harlequins. You’ll also find lore, photos o miniatures, campaign section, psychic disciplines, datasheets, and more.
Get the regular edition or the limited collector’s edition with a soft-touch cover, silver foil blocking, and black ribbon marker.
Maugan Ra arrives with a brand new miniature. The Phoenix Lord is armed with his iconic scythed shuriken cannon, the Maugetar.
What’s Maugan Ra without Dark Reapers? The new plastic kit will have you unleashing long-ranged attacks. It features a lot of options for heads, an Exarch with a choice of tempest launcher, Aeldari missile launcher, shuriken cannon, or reaper launcher!
New Warlocks are here as well. The psykers are ready to take on those who oppose them with their psychic energy.
Every Aeldari are trained for battle, hence the Guardians. Guardian Defenders wield shuriken catapults with a heavy weapons platform. Storm Guardians are close-combat focused protected by a Serpent Shield.
There are also Dice and Datacards for your Aeldari forces.
The Triumvirate of Ynnead returns as well!
Yvraine is the emissary of Ynnead, the god of death. SHe’s a powerful psyker and wields the power Croneswords. There’s also a cute Gyrinx.
Visarch is the loyal bodyguard of Yvraine. Armed with a Cronesword, Visarch is clad in a suit of Bel-Anshoc armor from which he can draw upon various personalities of past wearers.
Yncarne is the herald of the God of the Dead. Deadly on the battlefield, Yncarne is a heavy-hitter for Ynnari forces.
The Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game gets a release with Rutabi and Brórgîr. Lead the Rhûnnish Dragon Cults into battle with two Easterling Heroes. Rutabi is a powerful Hero and one of the foremost Easterling generals. Brórgîr is the head Easterling War Priest, who has delved into the ancient texts to enhance his dark powers to earth-shattering levels.
Black Library is getting some classic books back as a made to order print run. Get five hardcover books to complete your Siege of Terra collection as it builds to its climax. You’ll be able to get your hands on The Master of Mankind, Garro: Weapon of Fate,Shattered Legions, The Crimson King, and Tallarn – books 41 to 45 in the series.
There are quite a few licensed releases coming as well.
The Raven Guard Assault Intercessor Veteran Sergeant was previously only available through GameStop in North America. The rest of the world (except China and North America) will be able to get this figure from McFarlane Toys through Games Workshop.
Also from McFarlane Toys will be four artist proof figures. You can choose from the Ymgarl Genestealer, the Space Marine Reiver with Grapnel Launcher, the Ork Meganob with Shoota, and the Ork Big Mek.
For those that want their Games Workshop games in other tabletop form, you can get Cubicle 7’s Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay: Elector Counts – An Old World Card Game. Collect resources, assassinate rivals, and prepare for leadership-toppling sieges. The game is for 2 to 4 players.
The Risk: Warhammer 40,000 has been out for a bit but here’s another chance to get this game. his board game for three to five players pits Marneus Calgar’s Ultramarines, Abaddon the Despoiler’s Black Legion, and the xenos hoards of the craftworld Aeldari, Orks, and Genestealer Cults against each other.

McFarlane Toys has revealed the next eight figures in their Warhammer 40,000 line. The line moves beyond the Imperium adding some more Xenos to the mix.
Three new figures are being added to McFarlane Toys‘ line of Warhammer 40,000 figures. A new Sisters of Battle variant as well as a new Necron have been revealed and are available for pre-order.
The Order of the Bloody Rose is now represented with a new variant on the already released Adepta Sororitas Battle Sister. The figure looks to be the same as the already released figure but with a variant on the paint job.
Flayed Ones are Necrons who have been infected and succumbed to the Flayer Virus of the C’tan Llandu’gor, a Star god who inflicted Necrons with it as retribution for being obliterated by them. As a result the virus drives them insane with a hunger for blood and gore. The figure has the robotic look of Necrons but are decorated with the skin and body parts of their opponents!
They recently got updated miniatures and now they’re getting toys! McFarlane Toys has revealed a new figure based on Games Workshop‘s Warhammer 40,000 line.
After releasing a Necron Warrior, the xenos will get a new release with Necron Flayed Ones.
