Space Battle Lunchtime Card Game

Renegade Game Studios has announced the upcoming release of Space Battle Lunchtime Card Game!

Space Battle Lunchtime Card Game is based on its namesake graphic novel by Natalie Riess and published by Oni Press, about Earth baker Peony who gets the deal of a lifetime when she agrees to be a contestant on the Universe’s hottest reality TV cooking show, Space Battle Lunchtime!

In the game, players will face off as contestants in the intergalactic cooking competition show. They’ll collect and combine flavor cards to create the perfect prize-winning dish, trying to impress the alien judges with their creativity!

Designed by Daniel Solis and illustrated by Space Battle Lunchtime creator Natalie Riess, episodes of the game last about 30 minutes, starring 2-5 competitive cooks who have orbited the Earth’s sun at least ten times. Chefs can begin cooking when the game releases in May!

Lucky gamers will be able to catch an early release and demo day of Space Battle Lunchtime at select friendly local game store on April 4th with Board Game Expo

Oni Press Wants You to Get Your Game on at Gen Con with a Sneak Preview Edition of Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons #1

Oni Press is exhibiting at Gen Con 2018, where they’ll be selling limited quantities of a special early Gen Con sneak preview edition of Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons #1 by writers Patrick Rothfuss and Jim Zub, and artist Troy Little, featuring an exclusive cover from artist Kory Bing. Writer Jim Zub (booth #1649) and cover artist Kory Bing (booth #2129) will be in attendance to support this most epic of crossovers between these two renowned licensed properties. Kory Bing will be signing at Oni Press booth #2655on Friday and Saturday from 1-2pm.

The Tea Dragon Society Card Game is based on the celebrated Oni Press book, The Tea Dragon Society, by Katie O’Neill!

Discover the ancient art form of Tea Dragon care taking within this enchanting world of friendship and fantasy. Create a bond between yourself and your Tea Dragon that grows as you progress through the seasons creating memories to share forever.

Each player’s deck represents their own Tea Dragon. From turn to turn, players will choose to draw a card, triggering effects and strengthening their position, or buy a card, improving their deck or scoring points.

The game takes place over four seasons, starting in spring and ending in winter. At the end of winter, the player who has the most points is the winner.

Rick and Morty Roll the Dice with Dungeons & Dragons!

Announced at C2E2, IDW Publishing and Oni Press are bringing two of the most popular properties in the world, Adult Swim’s hit series Rick and Morty and Dungeons & Dragons, together in a brand-new four-issue comic book series. Taking the reins of these two iconic properties is the superstar creative team of writers Patrick Rothfuss and Jim Zub along with Eisner-nominated artist Troy Little .

Debuting this August, the mini-series will throw Rick and Morty into a high-fantasy adventure blended with the wit, humor, and intelligence the show is widely celebrated for.

Get Dead of Winter Volume 1 Good, Good Dog at C2E2

Oni Press will be landing in Chicago on April 6th-8th for the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, otherwise known as C2E2! You can drop by booth #209 to pick up some amazing Rick and Morty comics, plus picks from their spring collection including a few pre-release copies!

One item that might be of interest to gamers is Dead of Winter Volume 1 Good, Good Dog collecting the first volume of the comic series based on the board game.

The limited edition release contains an exclusive Ruckus Burley character that you can use in your Dead of Winter games.
