Warhammer Fest 2023: Warhammer 40,000 Roadmap Revealed

With the reveal of the Warhammer 40,000 10th edition box set details, Games Workshop also revealed the initial timeline of releases for Warhammer 40,000. With each codex release, it was mentioned that each would also see new miniature releases as well.

June sees the release of the main box set followed by the core book, Crusade: Tyrannic War, Chapter Approved Mission Deck, and Index Cards in Summer 2023.

With the box set release will also be updated rules for every faction for free to download but codexes will follow.

First up in Autumn 2023 are Codex: Tyranids and Codex: Space Marines.

In Winter 2023 we’ll see Codex: Adeptus Mechanicus and Codex: Necrons.

Spring 2024 will be the release of Codex: Dark Angels, Codex: Orks, Codex: Adeptus Custodes, Codex: T’au Empire, and Codex: Chaos Space Marines. This is the first indication we’ll be getting codex releases for Space Marine subfactions.

Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: Commander Farsight enters the Arks of Omen

It’s a Warhammer 40K focused pre-order next week from Games Workshop. Arks of Omen continues with a new book and lots of releases to help start your forces or expand your existing ones.

Vashtorr the Arkifane’s quest for the Key-fragments is nearing its end, and the action turns to the dead world of Arthas Moloch in Arks of Omen: Farsight.

The book expands Boarding Actions. Dark Depths missions allow you to mix up your battlefields and introduces multiplayer games for three or four players. There are also expanded Boarding Actions rules for T’au Empire, Asuryani and Ynnari, Drukhari, Harlequins, and Adepta Sororitas Boarding Patrols, which add further Stratagems and Enhancements for your crew.

You can get the book in a regular and a Special Edition which features a silver foil-embossed cover, printed page edges, and a black ribbon page marker.

Snikrot is back along with an Ork Board Patrol for Warhammer 40K

Games Workshop has revealed the highly anticipated new Snikrot figure along with a new Boarding Patrol box for Orks. The Warhammer 40,000 reveal was part of a string of them today by the game publisher.

Snikrot is nice and sneaky slitting throats with his combat knives known as Mork’s Teeth. The character has returned as part of the Arks of Omen storyline and ready to conduct boarding actions.

The figure will first be available as part of the Boarding Patrol Orks box set. This box packs in five tooled-up Flash Gitz, 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, 10 Kommandos, and of course a Grot and Bomb Squig in tow. Snikrot features three head options – mask off, mask up, or mask down – to choose from.

Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: Cadia Stands while Goffs Rock

With the teases increasing recently, it’s not surprising that Cadia and the Astra Militarum are the center of this coming week’s pre-orders from Games Workshop.

The Cadia Stands: Astra Militarum Army Set launches the update to the Astra Militarum. It features 28 new miniatures. That includes 20 Cadian Shock Troops, a five-man Cadian Command Squad, a Sentinel with Armoured and Sentinel configurations, and two Field Ordnance teams.

The box also features an exclusive copy of Codex: Astra Militarum and 63 datacards.

The box will have a 13-day pre-order window coming to shelves on Black Friday.

Are you ready to rock? Then the Ork Goff Rocker is for you. This year’s Christmas miniature is the Goff Rocker updating the classic trio of models. Of course, he’ll be getting some mini-games so you can bring him to the tabletop.

This year’s Battle Box releases are now available to order from Games Workshop! Each box retails for $210 which is a savings of about $50 per box.
