It’s a pretty light week for Games Workshop‘s pre-orders next week with some new releases and as well as a much-in-demand reprint.

Highlighting the week are the Space Marine Heroes 2023 – Death Guard. Games Workshop’s “blind box” range continues with the Death Guard featuring seven figures that were previously available as blind boxes but… the much-wanted Malignant Plaguecaster that was only available in Japan is now a part of the box! If you get an entire case of eight boxes you’re guaranteed to get all seven figures or roll the dice and pick them up individually. Each miniature comes with a detailed base and doesn’t require any glue to assemble.

The Warhammer Underworlds: Starter Set allows you to jump into the game with everything you need to play. You get two complete warbands, two decks for the quick-fire Rivals format, and all of the boards, dice, and tokens required.

The new starter set features the Farstriders, veteran Stormcast Eternals armed with powerful boltstorm pistols, and the Sepulchral Guard, undead tomb wardens who overwhelm their foes with sheer numbers. The box includes step-by-step instructions to help guide players through their first games, and it steadily introduces new rules and game mechanics until pure novices become seasoned veterans.

The Headsmen’s Curse is an aggressive, powerful warband focused on supporting the Wielder of the Blade, a powerful sword. The rest of the Nighthaunt warband supports their master with multiple control mechanics and special skills.

The Voidcursed Thralls Rivals Deck unlocks new strategies. It features 32 cards that any Warhammer Underworlds warband can use. It features powerful Gambit cards that are especially potent in the hands of aggressive warbands.

From Black Library comes a limited edition copy of Yndrasta: The Celestial Spear. Follow Sigmar’s chosen huntress as she tracks a deadly monster from the deep. Yndrasta: The Celestial Spear is written by Noah Van Nguyen. The limited edition copy is wrapped in a gorgeous soft-touch cover featuring the sculpted visage of Yndrasta herself, foil effects on the spine and back cover, gilt page edges, and a gold ribbon page marker. Each book is individually numbered and signed by the author, and limited to just 1,250 copies.

Renegades: Harrowmaster by Mike Brooks gets a German Edition. It’s one of the deepest dives into the duplicitous Alpha Legion we’ve seen to date. Solomon Akurra and his warband are hard-pressed by the arrival of the fearsome Primaris Space Marines, and if he wants to claim the title of Harrowmaster and unite his disparate brothers, he’ll have to adapt to the new normal of the Indomitus Crusades.

Coming from Bandai is Warhammer 40,000 Chibi Figures Series 2. This series features an Inquisitor, a Commissar, a Tempestus Scion, a Blood Angels Space Marine, and a certain head-swinging Crimson Fist you may remember from the classic Rogue Trader rulebook. Each bag contains one random figure and you can pick up a whole pack of 20 to make sure you get the whole set.
