Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: Khorne and Slaanesh are unleashed in Age of Sigmar plus Contemptor Dreadnought Torso Upgrades

It’s an Age of Sigmar focused week coming up with Games Workshop‘s pre-orders. Khorne and Slaanesh will clash and compete for your dollars along with a release for Horus Heresy and some from Black Library.

Battletome: Blades of Khorne is coming for you to spill blood and collect skulls for the Blood God. It features new warscrolls, pitched battle profiles, and Path to Glory rules.

It’s available in a Limited Edition version that features gilt page edges, gold foil blocking, a red ribbon page marker, and a soft-touch cover. It’s limited to just 500 numbered copies.

The Realmgore Ritualist carves burning runes into the land causing it to convulse in murderous delirium.

The Vanguard: Blades of Khorne is an easy way to build your force and features 3 Mighty Skullcrushers, 10 Blood Warriors, and 10 Bloodreavers, all led by a Slaughterpriest.

The Warscroll Cards: Blades of Khorne will help you keep track of your force featuring 41 reference cards.

And of course you can show your devotion with the Blades of Khorne Dice Set.

You can praise Slaanesh with the Battletome: Hedonites of Slaanesh. It features updated warscrolls, pitched battle profiles and new Path to Glory rules.

The Dark Prince Slaanesh might be incarcerated but its mortal legions continue to try to break it free. A new hero has joined that quest, the Lord of Hubris. This master duelist is flamboyant looking for close combat and will even let the enemy first strike on the combat phase forcing them to target his unit.

You’ll be able to find all his rules in Battletome: Hedonites of Slaanesh.

This week’s new pre-orders from Games Workshop is packed with Hedonites of Slaanesh for Age of Sigmar mixed with some releases for the Daughters of Khaine. Check out below for the full list of releases!

What’s an army without a Battletome? Battletome: Hedonites of Slaanesh has everything you need to battle and is your ultimate guide to the servants of Slaanesh. You can get a limited edition for $80 and a regular edition for $40.

The Daughters of Khaine are not to be outdone and they get Battletome: Daughters of Khaine also in a limited edition for $80 and regular edition for $40.

Warscroll Cards: Hedonites of Slaanesh features 33 warscroll cards for easy reference during your games. They retail for $25.

Slaanesh is Coming to Age of Sigmar

In the recent upcoming reveal from Games Workshop, the company lifted the curtain on new Hedonites of Slaanesh models coming to Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.

Revealed was the cover of the Hedonites of Slaanesh battletome.

For units, shown off were the Slickblade Seekers. They ride Steeds of Slaanesh attacking with their deadly glaives.

Joining them on the battlefield are Blissbarb Seekers. They’re mounted archers able to maneuver and unleash a volley of arrows.

Coming from the Direchasm Core Set is a new Slaangor and it’s joined by a full unit of Slaangor Fiendbloods!

Also coming to the battlefield are Bliisbarb Archers on foot who are accompanied by a Blissbrew Homoculus. The Homoculus battles with toxic concoctions to unleash through a barrage of arrows.

And there’s even more to come!

Sigvald is Back to command the forces of Slaanesh

During Games Workshop’s online preview, Slaanesh got the spotlight with the return of Sigvald. Slaanesh’s champion is bigger and better than ever and game to your games of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.

But Sigvald isn’t alone. Check out some of the new forces he’ll be commanding such as the Myrmidesh Painbringers.

Then there’s the Symbaresh Twinsouls. They’re mortals who have forged a dark pact with the lesser daemons of Slaanesh. They share their bodies in return for power.

Warhammer Underworlds Next Chapter Direchasm is Revealed

The next season of Warhammer Underworlds has been revealed. During Games Workshop‘s online preview, the game company debuted Warhammer Underworlds: Direchasm.

Direchasm features new warbands, new cards, and new Primacy and Hunger rules. The new Primacy and Hunger mechanics allow you to build up bonuses, and the game rules have also been refined and streamlined even further. It’ll be a fresh challenge for players.

New to Warhammer Underworlds are the Lumineth Realm-lords – Myari’s Purifiers. The warband features four strong fighters each with their own strengths including magic, ranged attacks, and two different styles of melee.

They’ll be going against the Dread Pageant. These followers of Slaanesh also feature four fighters each with their own play styles. Their deck features ways to manipulate your own fighters and the enemy! They’ll also inspire when they inflict and receive wounds!

You’ll be able to dive even deeper into the world courtesy of Black Library and a new anthology book, Direchasm!
