Atomic Mass Games teases Star Wars: Shatterpoint Scenery

Star Wars: Shatterpoint is a new skirmish miniature game coming in 2023 from Atomic Mass Games. Much like Marvel: Crisis Protocol, also from Atomic Mass Games, you’ll manage your “team” to battle it out. But, for a fun game you’ll need some scenery, right?

Recently revealed are two scenery packs that’ll be released to help your epic tabletop duels. The two revealed so far are the “High Ground Terrain Pack” and the “Take Cover Terrain Pack“. Based on their names, it’s pretty clear what the “role” of each terrain set is with one giving an advantage at height and the other providing cover on the ground.

We’ll have more news about this exciting and anticipated game.

Atomic Mass Games reveals Star Wars: Shatterpoint

There’s a new miniature game arriving in 2023 from Atomic Mass Games, Star Wars: Shatterpoint.

The tabletop game is a squad-based skirmish miniature game set in the Star Wars universe.

Currently, Atomic Mass Games makes Star Wars: Legion which is also a Star Wars miniature game that features multiple squads and characters.

Shatterpoint looks to shrink things down with a similar style to AMG’s Marvel: Crisis Protocol, their Marvel skirmish miniature game.

Atomic Mass Games Takes Over Fantasy Flight’s Miniature Games Including X-Wing, Armada, and Legion

Star Wars

Asmodee is reshuffling some things within the company with a reorganization of their miniature game development. Atomic Mass Games will now handle the future development of all of Asmodee’s miniature games as a “specialty studio” focused on that space.

This means that numerous games are shifting over to the game developer who has found success with their Marvel: Crisis Protocol Game.

Star Wars: X-Wing, Star Wars: Armada, and Star Wars: Legion are all moving from Fantasy Flight to Atomic Mass.

Simone Elliott, who has shepherded Fantasy Flight’s relationship with Lucasfilm Licensing since 2015, will
lead Atomic Mass Games during this time of expansion as Head of Studio. Will Shick assumes primary creative oversight as Head of Product Development. Joining them will be key members of the teams involved in the creation and evolution of Fantasy Flight’s current Star Wars miniatures games, Star Wars
X-Wing, Star Wars Legion, and Star Wars Armada.
