Paizo and Foundry Virtual Tabletop Announce a Content Partnership

Paizo has announced an official partnership with Foundry Gaming LLC to bring premium content to Foundry Virtual Tabletop. This announcement comes after nearly a year of communal effort from Paizo, Foundry Virtual Tabletop, Sigil Entertainment Group, Syrinscape, and contributors from the FVTT Pathfinder Second Edition development community. Paizo has heard the outpouring of support from the Foundry VTT userbase and is excited to continue to work with the Foundry team to bring Pathfinder content to their platform in a way that emphasizes the quality of the respective products.

The first premium product to release as part of this partnership is the second edition Pathfinder Beginner Box, coming April 16. The release of the Beginner Box on Foundry VTT has been specifically timed to precede the community-driven Beginner Box Day event occurring the weekend of April 23–24, 2022. Fans won’t have to wait long for more content as the debut volume of the Outlaws of Alkenstar Adventure Path, Punks in a Powder Keg, will be available simultaneously with the book’s retail release on April 27. Volumes two and three will follow as they hit store shelves in upcoming months.

Next month, the truly massive Abomination Vaults Adventure Path arrives as an all-inclusive deluxe module, coinciding with the release of the hardcover adventure compilation.

Among the many premier features players and GMs can expect in these premium offerings are: Adventure and toolbox content converted to Journal Entries, each customized by hand to provide dynamic links to other documents and specific instructions for running the adventure using the automation features of Foundry Virtual Tabletop.

Syrinscape and D&D Partner to Create First Official Sounds of the Legendary RPG

Syrinscape has announcesd its lineup of activities for Gen Con, the Best Four Days in Gaming (Indianapolis, Aug. 2 – 5).

Syrinscape has announced the addition of Dungeons & Dragons to its extensive library of custom-made sounds for the world’s greatest games. Call of Cthulhu Coming to Syrinscape

Syrinscape and Chaosium Inc. have announce their partnership to create the official sounds for the Call of Cthulhu Roleplaying Game. With a suite of sounds for the base game as well as various modules in the works, players will experience this renowned game like never before. The first custom SoundSet, Call of Cthulhu 7^th Edition: Masks of Nyarlathotep, is set for release at Gen Con 2018.

The new edition of Masks of Nyarlathotep is a complete reanimation of the classic multi-part campaign for the Call of Cthulhu game, with a new chapter and full-color all new maps, handouts and artwork. Set in 1925, the steadfast investigators must unravel secrets and battle the minions of darkness in an attempt to stop world-shattering events from destroying humanity. The Masks of Nyarlahotep PDF will release in May 2018, with the published edition coming out at Gen Con 2018.

To accompany the new edition, Call of Cthulhu gets its first official sounds from Syrinscape in the Masks of Nyarlahotep Sound Set, which will be available for sale individually on Syrinscape.com or as part of a subscription. Syrinscape Releases First Official Starfinder Adventure Path SoundPack

Syrinscape, the award-winning app that creates movie-like, immersive, atmospheric sound for tabletop games such as Pathfinder RPG, Starfinder RPG, Mutants & Masterminds and more, has released two firsts for the Starfinder Roleplaying Game; the Incident at Absalom Station SoundPack to accompany Chapter One in the Starfinder RPG Adventure Path: Dead Suns and Into the Unknown, the first official SoundPack for a Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Quest. The Incident at Absalom Station SoundPack is the complete audio companion for the entire first chapter of the Starfinder Adventure Path: Dead Suns, conjuring all of the sounds of a massive space station, including a docking bay, the viewing platform, a marketplace, executive towers, a nightclub, plus laser gang wars, space combat, space goblins, void zombies and so much more. Syrinscape’s Sound Cave to Make PAX Unplugged Debut

As the 2017 game convention season comes to an end, Syrinscape has announced its Sound Cave will make one more stop at the debut PAX Unplugged tabletop gaming convention, taking place in Philadelphia November 17 – 19, 2017.

Syrinscape, creator of the award-winning apps that put the power of custom, movie-like sound effects, soundscapes, music and dynamic tabletop audio solutions at the fingertips of the gamer, will attend the first PAX Unplugged and bring their famous Sound Cave, where attendee voices will be recorded and then combined with those of thousands collected throughout the year, to be transformed into the mass-voiced madness that is the Shoggoth and immortalized on a forthcoming Cthulhu-themed SoundSet.

PAX Unplugged attendees will also get demos of the official Starfinder RPG and Pathfinder RPG soundtracks, with tips from Team Syrinscape on incorporating sound into any tabletop game. Syrinscape’s Official Starfinder RPG Soundtrack

Syrinscape has announced the line-up of activities for Gen Con 50 (August 17 – 20, Indianapolis), including the historic launch of the official sounds of Starfinder, the first RPG to launch with a complete audio companion (sold separately).

Players traveling to the stars can immerse themselves with the sounds of key Starfinder locations, more than a dozen starships, 50+ different types of weapons, entering and exiting the drift, dramatic music for combat, docking bays, weird alien planets and more. Fans who purchase the Starfinder Core Rulebook, either at Gen Con or from Paizo.com, will receive a free Docking Bay 94 SoundSet. Additional sounds of Starfinder are available as individual SoundPacks, or as part of Syrinscape’s SuperSyrin or Sci-Fi subscription packages. SuperSyrin subscribers with access to the SoundSet Creator will also be able to choose from a palette of sounds to customize their own starships.

Syrinscape and Green Ronin Partner to Bring World’s Greatest Superhero Roleplaying Game to Life

Syrinscape and Green Ronin Publishing have announced the companies have partnered to develop custom Mutants & Masterminds SoundSets for the Syrinscape Sci-Fi app.
