Boys Superfans and Screenwriters Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit Rumble with Homelander on December 14
On Dec, 14, The Boys superfans and screenwriting duo Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit will join 1First Games co-designer Joshua Stilts and other special guests in a race to take down Homelander in The Boys: This is Going to Hurt.
Hernandez and Samit, who wrote and produced smash hits including, “Detective Pikachu,” “Central Park,” “One Day at a Time”, and “The Tick,” will get their chance at taking down Vought-American’s most powerful supe.
The live stream will be hosted on 1First Games Twitch channel starting at 1 p.m., PST.
The Boys: This is Going to Hurt is available now on Kickstarter and Tabletop Simulator through Dec. 24. Members of 1First Games design team are also offering fans the chance to play with one of the developers. In The Boys: This is Going to Hurt, players take on the role of newly activated CIA agents, unfairly tasked with saving the planet from the greatest threat it has ever known, the most powerful and dangerous superhero of all: The Homelander. In their quest to stop him, players will build an army from almost every character found in the books. Players will have to buy, blackmail, battle, power up with Compound-V, and resourcefully use an assortment of unique items from the comics.
