Gen Con 2019: Mantic Games Brings Hellboy, Walking Dead, and Mantic Night!

Mantic Games is heading to Gen Con and you can find them at booth #835 with demos and exclusives!

Hellboy: The Wild Hunt

Mantic will have the very first copies of the brand-new expansion, The Wild Hunt – flown straight in from China. This will be the first time the expansion has been available anywhere in the world – but there’s only 50 copies, so you might need to be quick to get yours! And don’t worry if you’re not at the show, the expansion will be available from retailers and the Mantic website in September.

If you missed out on the Kickstarter, they’ll have the last few Hellboy Kickstarters copies available in the USA at our booth 835. There are less than 100 Kickstarter Editions – and they are on a first come, first served basis (plus use the voucher from the coupon book to get $20 off).

Hellboy Show Exclusive Nimue, the Blood Queen

You want more Hellboy madness? Mantic will have the new Hellboy Show Exclusive Nimue, the Blood Queen miniature available in very limited amounts at the stand. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to Gen Con, Nimue will be available at other shows we attend and from the Mantic website soon!

Call to Arms will be making its debut at Gen Con. On the stand the new book will be available, along with the faction cards and equipment deck. If you want to take your games of All Out War to the next level, then this is a vital purchase.

For Walking Dead fans, Gen Con will be the first opportunity in the US to grab the Show Exclusive Chris, Leader of the Hunters. Not only do you get Chris, but he also comes with two gruesome resin objective markers.

Also at Gencon Mantic will host the legendary Mantic Night. The ticket costs $30 but for that you get the 10 Year Mantic Gencon Celebration pint pot, a pint of craft beer to put in it (or other tasty beverage of your choice) and a $30 voucher to spend on the Mantic stand. So basically, Mantic’s paying you to come and spend the evening with them! How amazing is that? The event takes place Saturday at 8pm at the Kingmakers Board Game Parlour, where you can chat, drink and game!

Mantic Games’ Here’s Negan Slips to December 3

Mantic Games has announced that Here’s Negan will now be shipping December 3rd. The upside of this slight delay is that if you were after the exclusive Character Cards for The Walking Dead: All Out War, fret not! You have a little extra time to pre-order the game, either through your local retailer or the Mantic Webstore!

Here’s Negan is a co-operative board game for 1 to 5 players, based on The Walking Dead comic-book series. Each player takes the role of a Survivor, recruited by the ruthless Negan. Under Negan’s instructions, the Survivors must battle to clear out a large factory complex to create a safe haven in the brutal wilderness. By scavenging supplies, securing key objectives and fighting the walking dead, the players hope to win Negan’s favour and ultimately become his top lieutenants.

The Walking Dead: All Out War Wave Four is Here

The Walking Dead: All Out War Wave Four is in stores now! Covering the events of Rick and the survivors meeting the ruthless Governor of Woodbury, this wave includes a new expansion and 6 new boosters.

On top of this, Mantic Games has started putting pre-orders for individual sets up on their website, including the Alice Booster, Michonne – Vengeful Hunter Booster and the Made to Suffer Expansion.

The Made to Suffer Expansion includes four new survivors, two extra walkers, a paper mat/collector’s guide, event cards, equipment cards, card scenery and a full narrative campaign covering the events surrounding Woodbury. There’s even a card tank template!

If that’s not enough, the rulebook also includes more detailed rules for fighting indoors, and rules for playing larger games with allies and various factions (almost like an ALL OUT WAR).

Alice works for the Governor in Woodbury, but her loyalty is called into question when she takes pity on Rick and the other survivors. The Governor does not take disloyalty well.

After a narrow escape from the Governor’s clutches, Michonne is on the warpath. With armor and weapons taken from the prison, she’s ready for revenge.

The company has also said these expansions will ship later so that they don’t interfere with the first wave of releases.
