In Super Cats act as cute kittens and band together to become the fierce Super Cat, the only one who can defeat mangy enemy RoboDog! This fun game brings the strategy of rock-paper-scissors to a multi-player card game. Outwit your friends and be the first to transform your cats. Remaining players can then act as defense and let RoboDog win! Spontaneity and teamwork create this raucous new version of roshambo.

Here’s How to Play:

  1. Assemble your team!
  2. Choose a number with your hands while shouting…SU-PER-CATS
  3. The largest unique number wins and the winner flips over one of their cards revealing a Super Cat
  4. The first player to turn all of their cats to Super Cats becomes the HERO!
  5. The hero battles against the RoboDog controlled by the other players
  6. Choose a number with your hands while saying…RO-BO-DOG, the unique highest number battles against RoboDog
  7. Keep attacking RoboDog to win the game.
  8. Battle until all of the Super Cats are defeated or all of the RoboDog cards are destroyed.

The game is for 2-5 players ages 8+ and should take about 15 minutes. The game retails for $9.99

This is a new edition to Op’s new Coded Chronicles line of escape room style games coming out this year. And with the 40th anniversary of the film set for May 23rd, what better time to announce this game!

“Here’s Johnny!” In The Shining: Escape from the Overlook Hotel, take on the roles of Wendy and Danny and work together to search for a way out! Use psychic abilities like “the shining” to solve challenging puzzles, but beware of Jack and the hotel itself, which are conspiring to keep the Torrance family captive. Can you get Wendy and Danny out of the Overlook Hotel while avoiding the axe-wielding Jack?

Coded Chronicles is an at-home escape room style game where players work together to unlock clues and solve puzzles by using a unique code revealing mechanic. Each game offers a unique storyline and objective to provide a one-of-a-kind game-play experience.

The Shining: Escape from the Overlook Hotel – A Coded Chronicles Game is for players age 17+ and can be played with 1 or more individuals. Games take over 120 minutes.

The Op’s Hues and Cues is Out Now

Hues and Cues is a new board game from The Op and Scott Brady where color references and examples are in the eye of the beholder. In the game, you test your color knowledge and guessing abilities. It’s a vibrant group party game of colorful communication where players are challenged to make connections to colors with words.

Using only one and two-word cues, players try to get others to guess a specific hue from the 480 colors squares on the unique game board.

The winner is the first player with the most points after several rounds.

Buy, sell, and trade your way to infamy and be the last one standing in this collectible version of Monopoly. The game includes 6 custom sculpted tokens: Heisenberg Hat, Tio’s Bell, Money Barrel, Gas Mask, Pink Teddy Bear, and RV.

The game has a slight Breaking Bad twists with Houses renamed Tented Houses, Hotels renamed SuperLabs, Community Chest Cards renamed Heisenberg Cards, and Chance Cards renamed Walter White Cards.

Monopoly: Garbage Pail Kids is Out Now

Do you hear that laughing? That’s The Batman Who Laughs, the subject of The Op‘s latest “Rising” game, The Batman Who Laughs Rising. The Batman Who Laughs is a twisted version of Batman from the Dark Multiverse, one where he was infected with Joker Toxin. Yes, it’s the brains and cunning of Batman mixed with the pure anarchy of the Joker!

The multiverse’s disturbing cross between The Caped Crusader and The Joker is the epicenter of conflict in The Op’s newest cooperative card and dice game, in which players work together and recruit key Super Heroes to dominate a host of Super-Villains. In The Batman Who Laughs Rising, a passage from the Dark Multiverse has allowed the most dangerous evildoers to infiltrate Gotham City, and these Dark Knights alongside their menacing leader are eager to do their worst to the city.

Save the multiverse and do battle with Power, Purpose, Determination, and
Justice with four starting heroes: Wonder Woman, Green Lantern,
Hawkgirl, and Batman, each with their own teams and special abilities.
Prominently on the opposition stands a custom sculpted, full color figure of The Batman Who Laughs, crazed and commanding a fistful of chained Evil Robins.

The World of Warhammer 40,000 Comes to Risk

Usaopoly (The Op) dives deeper into the world of Games Workshop‘s Warhammer 40,000 with Risk: Warhammer 40,000.

Battle with your favorite factions for control of the planet Vigilus in the Battle of the War of the Beasts. Take control of your faction and attempt to vanquish your foes across the unique planet map that has been customized for Warhammer 40,000 fans. In this Risk game, custom sculpted units will allow you to control the key locations in your bid to rule the planet!

Vigilus is a notable world in the Imperium Nihilus, a region of space that became isolated from the greater Imperium due to the formation of the Great Rift at the end of the Thirteenth Black Crusade. The “Dark Imperium,” as it is known is known so as the light of the Astronomican is obscured making travel difficult. The planet was the location of a recent series of campaign books released for the Warhammer 40,000 miniature game.

Vigilus is at the mercy of five warring Factions: Ultramarines, Orks, Chaos Space Marines, Aeldari Craftworlds, and Genestealer Cults, each represented by tokens for their Leaders and custom game pieces for their single and triple-threat units.

To name a few, Marneus Calgar leads the Ultramarines with individual Primaris Intercessors and Repulsor battle tanks as their three-unit pieces. The Aeldari Craftworlds faction, led by an Autarch, has Guardians at attention with Falcons as their tanks. A Magus’s Genestealer Cult boasts weapon-wielding Acolytes and heavily armored Goliath Rockgrinders. All five factions’ Leaders have various special abilities, while armies are deployed with daring attacks and defense at the roll of custom red and black dice. Players gain Reward Cards for completing objectives, allowing the acquisition of additional armies and providing strategic advantages. Conquer not only three objectives, but total control of all territories to win “Total Domination”!

Retailing for $49.99 the game is for 2-5 players ages 10 and up.

Combining the beloved Disney and Square Enix collaboration with Games Workshop’s time-honored tabletop mechanic, USAopoly has announced that Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition will soon be arriving at local retailers.

A vibrant board game experience inspired by the original Kingdom Hearts video game, Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition is filled with iconic characters, memorable locations and adventure. Designed for 2-6 players, the game transports players to The Destiny Islands, which have been attacked by the Heartless. Players must venture through three different rings — The Realm Between, The Realm of Light, and The End of the World– acquiring the needed Strength and Magic to seal the Door to Darkness and keep Heartless from consuming the other worlds. 

Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition Component Highlights:

Talisman: Batman Super-Villains Edition is Out Now

Talisman: Batman Super-Villains Edition from USAopoly is now available. Players can sneak, fight and search their way to victory in this reimagined version of Talisman. With sights set on a villain and multiple obstacles ahead, players navigate through Arkham Asylum to evade orderlies, officers, as well as Batman, Robin, and Batgirl to release the inmates and become King or Queen of the underworld.

USAopoly and Games Workshop Sign a Deal for Licensed Editions of Talisman

In the lead up to ToyFair, USAopoly and Games Workshop have announced plans to develop licensed versions of the critically-acclaimed adventure board game, Talisman.

USAopoly will release two new licensed versions of Talisman in North America and other select regions later this year. This will be the first time a licensed version of the game will be available. The new partnership grants USAopoly international rights to distribute co-branded renditions of the “Magical Quest Game” via distributors, online marketplaces and beyond.

First released in 1983, Talisman has sold millions of copies worldwide. The game’s fourth edition, which was released in 2009, was granted the Ludoteca Ideale Official Selection award.

USAopoly has said that more details will be announced later this year.

This is the latest partnership announced by Games Workshop which has shifted gears in recent years shifting it’s focus and break out from just being a “miniature game” manufacturer. They’ve also announced deals with WizKids and Funko expanding their footprint.
