Magic: The Gathering is celebrating 25 years and VIZ Media is recognizing the event with this officially licensed illustrated history exploring the legend, lore, and origins of the bestselling card game.
Magic: The Gathering: Concepts & Legends is written by James Wyatt, a Senior Game Designer for Magic. The book takes you through the creative process behind the evolving art and design of the games and its worlds and characters.
The book is out now in comic shops and book stores and retails for $39.99.

Games Workshop has been releasing the original gangs for Necromunda one at a time and the final House Gang, House Delaque has been revealed!
These figures have been re-designed from their original look at their new plastic kit will allow you to build your own gang with all manner of equipment.
Games Workshop is also making is easier to get into Necromunda.
The company is releasing a standalone Necromunda Rulebook that combines the rules from the Necromunda: Underhive boxed set with content from Gang War. It also features updated rules from Errata and FAQs.
There will also be a new book Gangs of the Underhive which will have rules for all six of the House Gangs plus Hangers-on, Brutes, the trading post and more.
These two books will allow new players to start with any gangs they want and provide an updated rules and two handy releases combining the various releases.
Some of what we can expect in Chapter Approved 2018 for Warhammer 40K has been teased but Games Workshop has released more details and a teaser trailer.
The index will include rules for Loot Wagons for Ork armies but it’s also been revealed that rules for Commander Farsight’s elite bodyguard will also be included. There’ll be new datasheets for them to be used in games including matched play.
Adepta Sororitas, aka Sisters of Battles, will be getting a beta codex in the book. Yes, it’s a full codex and include rules for various Orders, Stratagems, and more.
Wizards of the Coast has a new series of in-game events built around creators in the Magic: The Gathering Arena community—Streamer Events—and they start tomorrow!
Since the launch of Open Beta of Magic: The Gathering Arena less than a month ago, 100 Million games have been played! During that time an incredible amount of creator content has been made by the Magic: The Gathering Arena community. Magic players have been teaching, competing, entertaining, deckbuilding, and sharing these experiences online. The Magic: The Gathering Arena team wants to continue to encourage these talented creators to make and enjoy great content in a way that is unique to Magic.
To create Streamer Events, the Magic: The Gathering Arena team is working closely with different creators in the community to build customized in-game events around their unique personality and play style. These events will be recurring and will feature a variety of awesome content creators and wildly different game modes.
To top it all off, we are adding in a major feature, Direct Challenge. Direct Challenge will allow players to jump into games against their friends by searching their in-game name before going into battle. We are excited to announce that Direct Challenge will be coming in the next November update with more robust friend features on the way!

We’re giving Constructed new house rules with Day. Day has always had a burning displeasure for counters and tricks. So together we created INSTA-BAN, where you bring a 60-card deck with zero instant spells in it. Instant speed effects such as flash or activated abilities are permitted, but if the spell is an instant, it is BANNED.
Gaby’s Greedy Dominaria Draft
We’re giving Draft new house rules with Gaby Spartz. Gaby loves drafting and building ambitious decks. So together we are running a GREEDY DOMINARIA DRAFT. Draft 3 packs of Dominaria around a few unique rules in this game of Magic. Everyone can play two lands per turn, start with 9 cards, and has no maximum hand size.

The Transformers Trading Card Game Convention Edition contains two Transformers character cards (Cliff jumper – Renegade Warrior and Slipstream – Strategic Seeker) and two battle cards (All-Out Attack and Tandem Targeting System) not available in the Autobots Starter Set or the Transformers Trading Card Game Booster Packs.
