Star Trek fans heading to Gen Con have something to be excited about. Walter Koenig, who played Ensign Pavel Checkov in the original Star Trek will be heading to Gen con as a Media Guest of Honor. Koenig will be in the general Autograph Area on Thursday, August 15, 2013, and at the Mayfair booth on Friday, August 16, 2013, where he will be signing. This is a perfect opportunity to have him sign your copy of Star Trek: Catan!

Koenig has had a great career including working as a  a producer, director, writer, teacher and actor who portrayed not one, but two iconic characters for television, Alfred Bester on Babylon 5 and the role for which he is most famous, Pavel Chekov. He has also appeared in over a dozen films and numerous television shows and even launched and written comic books.

In 2012, Koenig’s career was recognized by a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
