Summer is here, and WizKids has announced the upcoming release of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince: Summertime, a quick and clever card game inspired by the iconic hit song!

In Summertime, you will cruise, groove, and unwind across Philly, hanging with DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince at the hottest spots and trying to vibe with them to prove you’re the coolest in the crew!

Players will earn Cool Points by traveling to different Spots and outwitting each other, trying to play Action, Energy, and Boost cards to end up with the most total Energy at a Spot. Players also each have a different Vibe, and they will earn bonus Cool Points at the end of the game for each Spot they collected with a matching Vibe. The player with the most Cool Points at the end of the game wins!

Go Greece Lightning and Push Your Luck with this Racing Game

WizKids has announced the upcoming release of Greece Lightning, a push-your-luck racing game set in Ancient Greece from Kathleen Mercury and Mark Sellmeyer!

You are the Captain of a sleek, speedy trireme, racing in the famous Hydra Regatta. Steer around whirlpools, shifting currents, and fickle gods. Avoid the hungry Hydra and win a place among the stars!

In Greece Lightning, players race around a circular track, trying to be the first to complete two laps. You’ll roll two dice to move your boat—but you can risk going faster by rolling a third die. Careful! If you roll lower than your second die, you’ll lose them, and only keep your first die!

As you play, the seas shift and transform. You’ll pick up Racecourse wedges that you can place anywhere in the circle (except on top of ships, or at the start). Use these to make your path easier, or to place a Hydra directly in your opponents’ way! You’ll also collect Favor of the Gods cards, granting you powerful abilities. Speed through the course to win the favors of the gods, traverse whirlpools of fate, and collect fish to feed the Hydra. After two laps around the whirlpool, whoever sailed the furthest wins!

Greece Lightning is for 2-4 players ages 12 and up. Games take about 45 minutes.

WizKids has announced the upcoming release of Jinja, a colorful worker placement game about building shrines across Japan!

In Jinja, players must place workers at key locations around Japan to activate one of 13 different actions or build at one of seven territories. To earn the highest honor, you must plan your strategy, time your construction, and be a little bit lucky. The game takes place over five seasons as players work towards their unique goals.

The game features high replayability, with variable goals and events, as well as secret goals, called Omikuji, or “fortunes”, which score you bonus points if your shrines are on key locations. The game also includes Kitsune cards, which are randomly chosen for each game and provide different discounts, bonuses, and abilities that change with the seasons.

Jinja features evocative illustrations and high-quality components, including custom plastic miniatures to represent the shrines, screenprinted score trackers, and a custom multicolor Mask die! Waddle Around Downtown as a Sightseeing Penguin in Waddle

WizKids has announced that Waddle, an adorable pattern movement game for 2-4 players, is available in stores now!

In this fun, friendly, and accessible game from legendary video game designer Raph Koster and tabletop guru Isaac Shalev, players will take an adorable group of curious penguins sightseeing around the city trying to match the patterns on their cards with the locations the penguins travel to. The game board is a set of 5-10 places (depending on the player count) each with room for 5 penguins, and an adorable illustration of said penguins wreaking havoc at restaurants, libraries, or even the opera! The Penguins are screen-printed custom wooden meeples, divided into yellow and red groups, with matching bow ties!

Players share the same group of penguins, but each person scores based on their carefully chosen cards. Waddle requires a mix of advanced planning and thinking on your feet in order to succeed. After a set number of rounds, the player with the most points did the best job of corralling the penguins and wins the game!

The game features phenomenal art from Jackie Li, Waddle is the perfect combination of cute and strategic.

WizKids and Critical Role Brings Exandria to Life!

WizKids has announced a partnership with Critical Role. Adding to its line of miniatures, WizKids will debut product offerings from the expansive world of Exandria, beginning Q1 2021.

At launch, fans can expect to see iconic monsters and popular Player Characters (PCs) to enhance their own adventures in the roleplaying game set on the continent of Wildemount. Included in these is Critical Role’s Game Master Matthew Mercer’s famed deluxe “gargantuan” size, pre-painted Udaak. Sculpted with high-detailed features using premium paints, it’s truly a great foe, or ally, for any adventure!

Through this partnership, players can expect to see many additional releases in the coming years that span various continents in the world of Exandria, including products and RPG accessories like premium pre-painted—and unpainted—miniatures in the tiniest of figures all the way up to gargantuan and more. All packaging comes with a clear window, so fans can see exactly what they are getting on the store shelf.

WizKids has announced that Gates of Mara, a new 2-4 player game from one of the designers of Flotilla, is available now in North American Game Stores!

In this fantasy game from designer JB Howell, players take on the roles of tribal leaders seeking to lead their people to prosperity. To do this, they will secure influence in each realm, enchant their tribes, collect elemental resources, and earn gate keys. Over the course of four rounds, players will position influential figures from their tribes around the realms and gates. At the end of each round, the player with the most Influence in each area stakes a claim on it, earning points if they have claims in a realm at the end of the game. Players can also earn points by enchanting their people, completing objectives, and collecting keys. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!

Gates of Mara blends upgradeable worker placement with layered area-control mechanisms, all brought to life by the art of Nastya Lehn. You can lead reptilian dragonkin, the amphibious goblins, the insectoid antids, or the arboreal elves.

WizKids has announced that their hotly-anticipated Super-Skill Pinball: 4-Cade, a new pinball themed roll-and-write game from designer Geoff Engelstein, is now available in North American Game Stores!

This spectacular new title features four unique tables and matching backglass for players to choose from: Carniball, Cyberhack, Dance Fever!, and Dragon Slayer. Each turn, a pair of dice is rolled. Each player will select one of the two results and move their pinball to a bumper, spinner, or target with a matching number. As the game progresses, players will make their way down each level of the table, eventually selecting which flipper’s roll to use to send the ball back to the top.

WizKids has announced the upcoming release of WWE Cage Battle, an intense, exciting new game featuring the WWE’s most infamous setting!

When the steel cage descends onto the ring, you know the match you’re about to witness will be unforgettable. WWE Cage Battle brings that thrill to the tabletop for the first time! Build a team of your favorite Superstars, then flick custom dice into the ring to begin the battle! Stun your opponent’s Superstars or pin them in the corners of the ring.
