The Orks are coming for Warhammer 40,000 and they’re getting a hell of an update that’s a bit of a throwback to their 2nd and 3rd edition days and twist on the Snakebites Clan. As been teased for some time, A new Ork tribe, Beast Snaggas, is coming relying heavily on Squigs including ones to ride and massive ones that are the size of war machines. Also teased are new Defkoptas which haven’t had an update since “Black Reach”.

Shown off is a new Ork Kill Rig, a massive miniature that features a giant Squig pulling a warmachine and packed with weapons. Think a massive battlewagon but pulled by a Squig. The first option for it features a Wurrboy in a tower and a second option features a massive harpoon. It’s also a transport and solid in close combat!

The new Beastboss is the warboss equivalent for the Beast Snagga Orks. The power klaw has a bit of a more bone styling about it and the miniature features a small squig on its shoulder to shoot.

Mozrog Skargbad is the rider of Chompa the Great White Squig. He’s the biggest, baddest, Beastboss and named character for the army. Also revealed is a Beastboos on Squigosaur which can also be made from the same kit.

New Ork Boyz has been revealed that look like a nice update to the classic Boyz which hasn’t had an update for a long time. They have a similar aesthetic to the classic figures and should match the current range well.

New Deffkoptas are coming! A new multipart kit is coming updating a kit that hasn’t been updated since “Black Reach”. The figures look like they’d fit in well with those older models.

A new terrain piece is coming, a Big’ed Bossbunka. It’s a command center for the army leader and allows them to shout their commands to the army. There’s also a massive amount of shootas bolted on.

The Beast Snagga launch box will be available on July 17 so you don’t need to wait too long to get some of the new models including a new codex!
