In March, Games Workshop revealed Siege of Cthonia, the first campaign book for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. The book covers the battle on the Warmaster’s homeworld. The story focuses on the Imperial Fists and Sons of Horus and now, we get the reveal of the headline characters from the Loyalist and Traitor commands.

Vheren Ashurhaddon is the overall commander of the Sons of Horus invasion fleet. He’s been tasked by Horus to recapture their homeworld and assembled a force to do so. Vheren Ashurhaddon is a vicious fighter and fashioned his True Sons into men of honor and discipline.

Vheren Ashurhaddon wears the Panoply of the Void, armor crafted from rare materials, and carries the Axe of Serpentis.

Lord-castellan Evander Garrius is a veteran of the Unification Wars. He’s a brutal warrior which has kept him far from his Primarch’s favor. His rare aggression for an Imperial Fist combined with his Legion’s fortification skills makes him a difficult foe to deal with.
