Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: The Knights are coming to 40K

After weeks of teases, next week sees the pre-order releases for Knights for both Chaos and the Imperium!

You’ll be able to get the Chaos Knights Army Set which allows for dozens of configurations as you build you machines of death. It’s the first place to get hold of the new Chaos Knights kits, the codex, and datacards. You can build a Knight Abominant as well as two War Dogs, great to reinforce your army or build a whole new one!

The codex is a special edition with a soft-touch cover. Also included are 50 datacards that feature generic stratagems for use by any Chaos Knight army, special stratagems for six individual Dread Houses, and six Warp Storm Discipline psychic powers. Also included is a transfer sheet with almost 600 decals!

This is your first chance to get this force, new rules, and models!

The Imperium isn’t outdone. You can get Codex: Imperial Knights too! The new codex features all the rules you need to get them to the tabletop plus all the background you need to build out your force. You can get a Collector’s edition which features a soft-touch cover, ribbon bookmark, and grand glit lettering, or get the regular edition.

You can also get Imperial Knights Datacards which help you keep track of Stratagems and Knightly teachings during battle. . Also included are cards for the Households-specific Stratagems for House Terryn, House Griffith, House Cadmus, House Hawkshroud, House Mortan, House Raven, House Taranis, House Krast, and House Vulker.

You’ll be able to build your Imperial Knights force with Knight Armigers and Knight Dominus. The Knight Armigers feature two shooty Helverins or a pair of up-close-and-personal Warglaives – or one of each! You could also corrupt them and turn them to the forces of Chaos.

The Knight Dominus kit will now let you build the enemy-incinerating Knight Valiant or the bombarding Knight Castellan. Or, corrupt it to serve the Dark Gods!

War Zone Nachmund: Rift War also arrives concluding the event story. The book includes new missions, new Crusade rules, and a War of Desperation campaign to wage across three distinct War Zones – plus a Codex Supplement for the Castellans of the Rift Chapter of Space Marines, and new Armies of Renown for the Warpmeld Pact and the Coteries of the Haemonculi. You can get a Collector’s Edition, featuring a soft-touch cover, a ribbon bookmark, fancy gilt lettering, or the hardback edition.

From Black Library comes the Khârn: Eater of Worlds Special Edition! The World Eaters are leaderless, their Primarch missing, and Khârn is in a coma. Will the Eighth Captain awaken in time to stop his Legion from tearing itself apart? This special edition is limited to 1,500 copies and faux leather cover, an introduction by author Anthony Reynolds, and the short story Chosen of Khorne.

The Chronicles of Malus Darkblade: Volume Two follows the legendary druchii warrior Malus Darkblade on his adventures in the World-that-Was with this anthology, available in paperback and ebook.

Grim Repast (German) is getting a German release along with The Twice-Dead King: Reign (German).

Gaunt’s Ghosts: The Victory Part One (French) and Krieg (French) are getting French editions as well.

Games Workshop Pre-Order Preview: Tyranids, Head to Thondia, Made to Order, and more!

After weeks of teasing, the Tyranids are coming! The release of the army is the highlight for Games Workshop’s pre-orders next week.

You’ll need to get the new Codex: Tyranids which features all of the updated rules you’ll need to build your swarm. The book features 128-pages and is available in a regular and Collector’s Edition.

With a new codex comes a new miniature in the Parasite of Mortex. The bat-winged horror attacks the enemy with its razor-sharp claws but it’s the ovipositor tail you need to watch out for.

If you need a quick way to build your force, there’s the Combat Patrol: Tyranids. The box features 36 Termagants, a Hive Tyrant, three Tyranid Warriors, and three Ripper Swarms for about 25 Power Level’s worth of miniatures.

You can show off your dedication to the swarm with Tyranids Datacards and Dice Sets.

Space Marines get some reinforcements with some classic models that’ll be available Made to Order. You can get these Space Marine Captains to add to your force.

For Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, head to Thondia!

Season of War: Thondia contains rules for playing in the savage lands in open, narrative, and matched play. There’s also the terrifying incarnation of Ghur itself – the Krondspine Incarnate! The book is available in a regular and a limited edition version.

Realmscape: Thondian Strongpoint arrives delivering more scenery and terrain for the tabletop.

You might need a board to play on and Realmscape: Thondian Expanse has you covered. The fold-out double-sided board takes you to the wind-swept heartlands. Get multiple boards for bigger games! One side features cracked, red earth littered with bones while the other is a dark and gloomy marsh.

Head to Middle-Earth with more classic miniatures celebrating 20 years!

One of the earliest releases for the game, The Fellowship of the Ring gathers once again! This set of nine models is a classic.

Another classic is The Battle at Khazad-dûm allowing you to re-enact the iconic scene. You get the Balrog and Gandalf in this set.

Escape from Orthanc features Gandalf, the great eagle Gwaihir, the sought-after Palantir, and Saruman.

Attack at Weathertop has the Ringwraiths attacking the hobbits in this set of ten miniatures that includes Aragorn, the Witch-King of Angmar, and a tiny fireplace.

Wrapping things up is the Ambush at Amon Hen recreating this key moment. Here’s your opportunity to get Boromir with arrows sticking out!

White Dwarf 475 is coming with updated rules for Kharadron Overlords, info on Thondia, and so much more!

Black Library won’t be outdone. You can get Classic Inferno! 46 via print on demand. It features Dan Abnett, CS Goto, Nathan Long, and CL Werner.

Valdor: Birth of the Imperium by Chris Wraight takes us all the way back to the Unification Wars on Terra. It’ll be available in French and German for the first time.
