WizKids’ Dice Masters Gets a DC Justice Campaign Box and Doom Patrol and Mystics Team Pack

WizKids‘ Dice Masters is getting a new campaign box and team packs as the system continues to shift towards those product releases. Set for released in September if is DC Comics Dice Masters: Justice Campaign box as well as the DC Comics Dice Masters: Mystics Team Pack and DC Comics Dice Masters: Doom Patrol Team Pack.

Justice was a twelve-issue bimonthly limited series that ran from August 2005 to June 2007 that saw the Justice League of America confronting the Legion of Doom. The supervillains all are having nightmares where the Earth is destroyed by nuclear Armageddon that the JLA doesn’t prevent.

The campaign box includes 15 Justice League and Legion of Doom members including Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor and Metallo. As is standard, there will be multiple versions of each character. Everything needed for two players is included including Sidekick dice, Basic Action Dice, rules, and dice bags. It’ll retail for $39.99.

Also being released is the two team packs. The Doom Patrol Team Pack will include Elastic-Girl and Robotman, and allies like Plastic Man. The Mystics Team Pack includes Shazam! Captain Marvel Jr., Mary Marvel and Black Adam. Each Team Pack includes 24 cards and 16 dice and has an retails for $9.99.

Harley Quinn Dice Masters Starter Becomes a Team Pack

What was originally announced as a starter set will now be a team pack. WizKids is now soliciting the DC Comics Dice Masters: Harley Quinn Team Pack which is set to be released April 2018!

The DC Comics Dice Masters: Harley Quinn Team Pack features Power Girl, Batman, Poison Ivy, along with other characters Harley has teamed up with! While it still contains 8 different characters (and their dice), the DC Comics Dice Masters: Harley Quinn Team Pack will also be the first Team Pack to include Basic Action Cards!

The DC Comics Dice Masters: Harley Quinn Team Pack will let players build their own team of heroes or villains! DC Comics Dice Masters: Harley Quinn Team Pack is perfect for the Dice Masters veteran or someone looking to jump into the game fresh! A Team Pack can be paired with any Starter Set to give a player everything they need to build a highly focused team for thematic play!

With 24 cards and 16 dice, this release will be sure to add some crazy fun to your Dice Masters collection!

The big shift from a Starter Set to Team Pack will be the loss of the basic dice needed for the game which, for those that have been played the game for a while, will likely be a welcome change.

Unboxing: DC Comics Dice Masters Batman

Explore the world of Batman with Wizkids‘ DC Dice Masters Batman. Available in foil packs you get two dice and two cards in each pack which should retail for about $0.99 a pack.

We open up 15 foil packs going over the cards and giving some initial thoughts. We’ll have a more in-depth review on our site.

DC Comics Dice Masters: Golden Age Superman Monthly OP

Join Superman in the fight against some of his first super villains including his monstrous double, Bizzaro, and the tormenting trickster, Mr. Mxyzptlk, in DC Comics Dice Masters: Golden Age Superman.

Wizkids has announced a new Dice Masters organized play with three new cards featuring classic art from Superman comics.

The organized play kit has stores putting together events in order to get players to regularly come in and those who participate receive prizes for participation and depending on what place they come in.

This kit features three cards, Bizarro: Golden Age Superman, Mxyzptlk: Golden Age Superman, and  Thrown Car: Basic Action Card. The first two are prize support with the last being participation prizes.

Bizarro looks to be a new card that halves something…

Mr. Mxyzptlk looks to have you drawing cards until you get a Villain die with the rest going into your bag…

Thrown Car is a bit of a spin on Enraged which was found in the AvX set and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set.

DC Bombshells Come to Wizkids’ Dice Masters

BombshellsMonthlyOP-E1Female super heroines join the fight, front and center, in DC Comics Dice Masters: DC Bombshells.  Lois Lane, Stargirl, Mera and other leading ladies of the DC Comics universe are an all-new, all-female special force taking on the Nazis in World War II, while facing the cultural challenges of women in society.

Wizkids has announced the popular DC Comics characters are coming to Dice Masters in an organized play event. Organized play events are held by participating stores and by playing in them you can win these Dice Masters cards.

You have a chance to win Mera: Queen of Atlantis (the participation prize card everyone gets), Stargirl: DC Bomshell (one of the two limited edition prize cards), and Lois Lane: DC Bombshell (the other limited edition prize card).

Mera: Queen of Atlantis is new art for the card that debuted in War of Light. Stargirl: DC Bombshell and Lois Lane: DC Bombshell are two new cards though. Stargirl uses the die from the DC Comics Dice Masters: Justice League set while Lois Lane uses the DC Comics Dice Masters: World’s Finest die.

Lois Lane is an “Ally” and while she’s active, Superman dice you control gain Overcrush. She costs 4 to purchase. Stargirl, while the full text is covered, looks like when you field a character with the same affiliation of Stargirl you can spin one die up 1 Level. The cost to purchase her is unknown.

Wizkids’ DC Comics Dice Masters: Crisis on Infinite Earths Organized Play Starts in April

Anti-Monitor is attempting to destroy the universe, including all five Earths, in DC Comics Dice Masters: Crisis on Infinite Earths. Cross between worlds with the The Flash, Supergirl and Superman in an attempt to save the universe. Will any of the DC Comics superheroes survive the DC Comics Dice Masters: Crisis on Infinite Earths Organized Play events?

This April, Wizkids releases their latest organized play pack for Dice Masters, this one with a focus on DC Comics. Organized play allows stores to purchase kits with prizes that they hand out to participants at local events at their store. Usually stores give one card out to everyone who participates and then the other cards for those who place higher up in the events.

Each kit comes with five The Flash: Crisis on Infinite Earths cards, five Supergirl: Crisis on Infinite Earths cards, and 20 Superman: Invulnerable cards.
