The Nethermaze calls out to warbands from across the Mortal Realms. Hexbane’s Hunters is a band of Witch Hunters led by Haskel Hexbane. They’ve been commanded by the clandestine Order of Azyr to bring the cleansing fires of justice to the abyssal heart of the Nethermaze.
The warband purges the heretics with guns, axes, crossbows, and their faithful hounds. Fast, deadly, and determined, they’re also fragile, so keep your distance!
The set comes with a complete Rivals deck that can be used out of the box or combined with other cards to construct your own deck.
This feels like a really quick announcement to release but Warhammer Underworlds is going from Harrowdeep into the Nethermaze with a new starter set. The boxed set features the Shadeborn consisting of four Khainite Shadowstalkers taking on Skuttershank’s Clawpack, Skaven from Clans Eshin.
The new core set contains everything you need to get going with Warhammer Underworlds, including a rulebook, 11 dice, 114 tokens, two double-sided boards, and a mammoth number of cards. These include fighter cards and a complete 32-card Rivals deck for each of the new warbands, as well as a set of 48 entirely new universal cards, and 36 Grand Alliance cards split evenly between Order, Chaos, Death, and Destruction.
Also coming are the Exiled Dead. Necromancy and forbidden technology raise the dead and harness the power of electricity… as well as dark magic. The set features 32 Exiled Dead cards, the set also comes with 20 universal objective, upgrade, and gambit cards, as well as three more cards for each Grand Alliance.
That’s not all for Warhammer Underworlds! Harrowdeep‘s two forces will be released on their own. You can get Xandire’s Truthseekers and Da Kunnin’ Krew, along with their complete Rivals decks.
Black Library is packed with releases.
Throne of Light is the fourth installment of the Dawn of Fire series by Guy Haley. Throne of Light brings an ancient enemy to the fore – one that Roboute Guilliman himself has reason to dread. The Word Bearers, led by Kor Phaeron, have their sights set on the Segmentum Solar.
There’s a special edition that’s signed and numbered with leather-effect binding, ribbed spine, gilt lettering and page edges, plus a gold ribbon bookmark. It also features an additional short story and map.
Gotrek Gurnisson: Soulslayer by Darius Hinks features Gotrek and his companions march to war in Chamon – only for their plans to be ruined when a band of aquatic aelven raiders decide his soul, burning brightly as it does, is too good a prize to pass up.
Soul Drinker by Ben Counter gets a 20th Anniversary Edition.
There are new French and German editions as well. Flesh and Steel arrives in French while Skavenslayer and Sons of the Emperor: An Anthology gets a German release. All are available in paperback and eBook editions.
There’ll also be something new to collect as Panini and Games Workshop team up for Warhammer 40,000 Stickers and Cards. The release features over 200 collectible stickers and cards. There’s a Starter Pack that includes a sticker album, an exclusive limited-edition Vindicare Assassin card, a collector’s cardholder, and four packs of stickers and hero cards. Also available are an Album Stickers and Cards Multi Pack, containing six packs, or a Album Stickers and Cards Box, loaded with a whopping 36 full packs.
Warhammer stores will also have free sticker albums to give away while stocks last, and individual card packs for sale.
Warhammer Underworlds heads to a new location with Warhammer Underworlds: Nethermaze. The new boxed set features two new warbands, the Shadeborn, and Skittershank’s Clawpack.
This is a new starter set, so it has everything you need to play Warhammer Underworlds, board, dice, tokens, and rulebook.
The Nethermaze – constructed by mysterious and ancient architects – is a powerful wellspring of dark energy and the perfect lure for the Clans Eshin. It has also drawn in aelven seditionists, whose transgressions did not go unnoticed by Morathi – she’s sent a crew of shadowy assassins to snuff out this nascent rebellion. Enter Skittershank’s Clawpack and The Shadeborn.
Warhammer Underworlds: Nethermaze features new rules. There are two new keywords, Map and Domain. Both will be featured on cards included in the set. One lets you gamble for glory and the other allows you to change the surroundings to your advantage.
It’s Adepticon 2022 week and Games Workshop kicked it off with a preview of things to come. A new warband for Warhammer Underworlds: Harrowdeep was revealed during the evening, The Exiled Dead!
This new undead warband has been teased already and features a Necromantic Vampire who has been exiled for his experiments.
It’s a new take on zombies and walkers mixing in mad-scientist experiments with the classic zombie trope.
This warband is sure to be picked up not only because it looks and sounds awesome to play but for the kitbashing opportunities.
This coming weekend’s pre-orders from Games Workshop have been revealed and there’s a little something for everyone!
The big release is Fury of the Deep for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar which sees Fyreslayers taking on Idoneth Deepkin!
The box features two forces ready for you to put together and clash on the table including brand new miniatures! The Auric Flamekeeper draws strength from his fallen comrades to bolster nearby allies, while the Akhelian Thrallmaster corrals his soulless Namarti troops and spurs them onwards to greater heights of violence.
Fury of the Deep includes a 40-page booklet full of history, 43 miniatures, a token sheet, and nine warscroll cards, as well as a 56-page Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Core Rules book. It sounds like a nice way to start in the game.
Warhammer Underworlds gets a release to start the year, Gorlok Blackpowder and his motley crew! The crew features two gnoblar minions, trusty parrot Shreek, and a monkey with a knife! Blackpowder is massive picking off foes from afar with his grunderbuss.
Also coming is the Illusory Might deck which features 32 brand new cards to shake up strategies. The deck can be used with whatever Warband you want! As part of the new Rivals format, it’s a ready-to-play selection of cards to quickly get into the action and play. They can also be used in existing decks and warbands taking advantage of Harrowdeep’s new Illusion and Grievous mechanics.
Bless be Nurgle as Blood Bowl gets a pitch, dice, and cards to show off one’s devotion in the game. The Nurgle pitch features two sides with one side featuring a simmering infestation below the surface, while the other blooms into a full-blown plague garden complete with toothy growths erupting from the sod.
Nurgle-themed dice are also coming as well as Team Cards which create a handy reference in the game including Star Players and Special Plays.
Aeronautica Imperialis expands with the Aeronautica Imperialis – Companion. The book features new rules, aircraft, and factions as well as content already released in White Dwarf, allowing you to field squadrons from the Necrons, Asuryani, and Adeptus Astartes. Also included is a deeper dogfighting experience with expanded damage rules, new Ace abilities, and the challenges of limited ammunition.
But, that’s not all for the game as Forge World gets some releases for the Necrons! Each set contains two planes buildable as either Night Shroud bombers or Doom Scythe fighters! One is focused on speed and maneuverability and the other takes on rival interceptors!
White Dwarf #472 is on the horizon too. It features the finale of A Tale of Four Warlords, rules for Genestealer Cults Kill Teams, and a new Flashpoint set in the Nachmund Gauntlet. There’s also a focus on Ossiarch Bonereapers with new and updated rules!
From Black Library comes some new releases.
Harrowdeep is a collection of three novellas by Gary Kloster, Noah Van Nguyen, and David Annandale.

Warhammer Underworlds: Harrowdeep has opened up a whole new world for the miniature board game with all new tactics and themes. Having to do with water, it’s only natural we’d get some pirates to do battle with. Blackpowder’s Buccaneers is the first warband expansion after the boxed set release.
Blackpowder’s Buccaneers feature an ogre pirate, his gnobblar crew, and of course his pet parrot and a monkey… a monkey with a knife!
Out in 2022, this new warband features its own complete deck allowing players to jump right into the new Rivals format.

Warhammer Underworlds: Harrowdeep is here with a whole new box set featuring two new warbands. The shadow realm of Ulgu is a murky place at the best of times, and it takes brave souls indeed to journey into the dark fastness beneath the Shadow Sea in search of spoils and glory. Enter the terrifying labyrinth known as Harrowdeep.
The box set features new universal cards, new Grand Alliance cards, cards for Order, Chaos, Death, and Destruction warbands, and more. There are also new mechanics like Gloom tokens which hide objectives from view.
There are also two new warbands, the Thunderstrike-armoured Stormcast Eternals, Xandire’s Truthseekers, and Kruleboyz, Da Kunnin’ Krew.
If you order the set through the Games Workshop website, you’ll also get a set of acrylic objective tokens while supplies last.
Head to the Octarius sector with War Zone Octarius Book 1: Rising Tide. Inquisitor Kryptmann’s meddling has brought Hive Fleet Leviathan into the heart of a colossal Ork empire. Tyranids will feature new synaptic abilities, while Cadia’s remaining regiments are marshaled.
Octarius Mission Pack: Containment sees the return of deadly Planetstrike missions to Warhammer 40,000. It features 21 narrative play scenarios for Crusade campaigns.
And what’s a game without dice!? Get these new dice featuring the sigil of Ordo Xenos!
Forge World has some releases as well!
Sons of Horus Legion Praetors lead the disciplined armies of the Warmaster into combat. They’re exceptional commanders who have no problem leading from the front.
Legion Mk IV Destroyer Squad shoulder the burden of having to wield grotesque weapons. Rad weapons, phosphex bombs, and even worse are among their arsenal.
Two classic Horus Heresy books are going to be released in softback. Book Three: Extermination follows the aftermath of the Istvaan V Dropsite Massacre, as the Heresy sweeps outwards across Imperial space and the Emperor’s loyal Legions race to respond. The Burning of Prospero reaches its apocalyptic climax in Book Seven: Inferno as the Space Wolves unleash their fury upon the Thousand Sons.
A new modeling release is out as well. Citadel Colour Tufts allows you to add some greenery to your bases with Verdia Veldt and Mordian Corpsegrass.
Finally, the second issue of Warhammer 40,000: Sisters of Battle will be released with an exclusive variant cover.
At Gen Con 2021, Games Workshop revealed the next season of Warhammer Underworlds. Warhammer Underworlds: Harrowdeep plunges beneath the waves with a new starter featuring everything you need.
The new starter set features boards, cards, tokens, dice, and two warbands to begin the new season. Kruleboyz Orruks and Stormcast Eternals battle it out to start things off.

Harrowdeep is a shadowy location deep beneath the seas of Ulgu. A forgotten dungeon lies within where darkness reigns. The new location brings new rules of fighting in the Realm of Shadows and the shrouded part of the battlefield.
The box set also includes the new “Rivals format” making it more accessible. Pre-made decks are included to bring balance and allow players to jump right in. Championship format is still around and not going anywhere.
Warhammer Underworlds: Harrowdeep also features new cards including universal cards and Grand-Alliance-specific ones providing something new for veteran players.

Necromunda gets a new boxed set with Necromunda: Hive War. The new set has everything you need to play and a perfect way for new players to get into the game. The set comes with two gangs, Escher and Delaque with 10 plastic miniatures for each gang and a variety of weapons to arm them.
Also included is a 10-page softback rulebook which includes everything you need to play from how to generate gangs, to the rules, scenarios, and more.
There’s also modular scenary with which you can use to do battle as well as a double-sided gaming mat, dice, tokens, cards, and templates.
Also coming is a Necromunda Underhive Propaganda Transfer Sheet that features 499 decals that you can use to help make your scenery unique and add finishing touches to your own Underhive.
You’ll need to upgrade your gangs which means the need for new weapons. The Weapons & Upgrades Sets has you covered with over 60 alternative components to make your gang even more unique. Two will be released, one for Escher and one for the Goliaths. They include different heads, weapons, and more.
Blood Bowl is getting some love with new releases as well for the Chaos Chosen.
You can get a set of pitch and dugouts for the Chaos Chosen so you can play Blood Bowl honoring the Dark Gods.
You’ll be able to better keep track of your team with the Chaos Chosen Card Pack which is a handy reference. It also includes 20 blank cards to keep track of your team as it develops as well as Special Play cards exclusive to Chaos Chosen teams.
Finally, show your allegiance to the Chaos Gods with the Chaos Chosen Team Dice Pack.
Warhammer Underworlds gets two releases to expand your games with.
Hedkrakka’s Madmob is a new warband of four feral Orruks led by a mask-wearing Shaman. They’re an aggressive warband sure to mix games up and deliver new elements to the Underworlds.
Warhammer Underworlds: Silent Menace Universal Deck is an expansion perfect for every warband. It offers new card options and a greater variety of deckbuilding combos. The release features 32 cards – 12 objectives, 10 gambits, and 10 upgrades. They’re all themed around the treasures and tactics of Beastgrave’s Silent People. The set doesn’t include any spells meaning you don’t need a wizard to get everything out of it.
Black Library has a bunch of releases coming too.
Warriors and Warlords is available in paperback and is a collection of short stories set in the world of Warhammer 40,000. It includes stories by Rachel Harrison, Graham McNeill, and Chris Wraight.
The Sisters of Battle Collection brings together works by James Swallow. It includes his full collection of novels and short stories focused on the Sisters of Battle in a limited edition release that features two hardbacks. Games Workshop has taken a few weeks off for new releases but are back with a week packed with releases that will make the wallet hurt. Check out below for everything you can get starting today.
Expand your Drukhari and Adepta Sororitas with the Piety and Pain box. The campaign box features both armies along with a 32-page campaign book featuring datasheets, missions, Crusade rules, and Theatre of War rules for urban areas.
The Adepta Sororitas army includes five heavy-weapon toting Retributors with a pair of Armorium Cherubs, a heavily armoured Immolator, and a Palatine – a new hero with head and weapons options.
The Drukhari force is a swift Wych Cult warband led by the legendary duellist Lelith Hesperax. The stunning new plastic model of this beloved character is joined by ten Wyches, five winged Scourges, and a Venom.
