CMON’s God of War board game launches in April

In 2019, CMON released God of War: The Card Game, a direct adaptation of the 2018 video game title. CMON is working with Santa Monica Studio once again and this time a board game is in the works, featuring a whole new system and incredible miniatures.

Designed by a team that includes Alex Olteanu, Fabio Cury, Leo Almeida, and Patrick Fernandes, the game has been in the works for over two years.

God of War The Board Game will be a cooperative two-player game where the players will control Kratos and Atreus, working together to survive various threats on the map, from monsters to the environment itself. Cooperation will definitely help, and being in-sync is guaranteed to bring rewards.

The game will cover the time period between God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök.  Players will encounter various iconic monsters in the form of highly detailed miniatures.

God of War The Board Game will be launched via a Gamefound campaign in April, where people all over the world can back the project in advance and receive exclusive content along with their game.
