Roll for Initiative, the Marvel Multiverse Role-Play Game gets a Deadpool adventure!

This summer, Deadpool crashes into the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game with his very own playable adventure! Deadpool Role-Plays the Marvel Universe is the first comic-sized, one-shot adventure for Marvel’s fan-favorite role-playing game. 

The upcoming book includes a comic story lead-in by Cullen Bunn, a full-fledged standalone RPG adventure, and new full character profiles. Readers can play as Deadpool and his team – or use their own characters – in a fourth-wall breaking adventure right out of Marvel’s comics!

This new adventure book is meant to be used in conjunction with the hit Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game hard cover. The Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game launched in August 2023.

Mantic Games delivers a look at Halo: Flashpoint

Halo is once again going from the screen to the tabletop in the upcoming miniature game Halo: Flashpoint from Mantic Games.

Arriving in Fall 2024, Halo: Flashpoint is the new tabletop miniatures game set in the Halo universe.

In the game, you and your opponent will be taking command of highly-trained Spartan fireteams that clash against each other. Mantic has teased it’s a skirmish game, so think a handful of miniatures and not epic battles.

Mantic has revealed the first miniatures for the game painted by Angel Giraldez.

The game publisher has teased the first live demonstrations at Adepticon taking place March 20-34 and Salute in the UK on April 13.

William Shakespeare, Hamlet, Titania, and the Wayward Sisters are coming to Unmatched!

Unmatched: Slings and Arrows

Restoration Games has announced details of the next Unmatched set, Slings and Arrows. In addition to William Shakespeare, the set includes Hamlet, Titania, and the Wayward Sisters as playable heroes. The heroes are brought to life by the incomparable art of Zoë van Dijk, who illustrated Battle of Legends, Vol. 2. The battlefield, the world-renowned Globe Theater, was illustrated by Nastya Lehn.

The set will be available for preorder the company’s website on March 4 (shipping early May) and will include a free foil promo version of one of the set’s cards. The retail release date is June 12.

Slings and Arrows features two decks that were entries in the design contest Restoration Games held in 2020. William Shakespeare was one of the winning decks, designed by Jonathan Guberman, and rewards players for completing lines in iambic pentameter. The Wayward Sisters deck was a runner-up and designed by Jason Hager, one of the designers of the recent cooperative version, Unmatched Adventures. This multi-hero deck brings the witches potion machinations to life with cunning coordination.

Calling All Superheroes! Skybound Tabletop Announces Invincible: Escape from Mars

Skybound Tabletop has announced the retail release of Invincible: Escape from Mars, the superhero deduction game based on the hit comic book series Invincible from Robert Kirkman, Corey Walker, and Ryan Ottley. Now in stores nationwide, Invincible: Escape from Mars is available just in time to accompany part 2 of the 100% Rotten Tomatoes scoring second season of the adult animated series on Prime Video.
